Evening Hawker Food At Perak Stadium, Ipoh

ONE EVENING WE WENT TO THE HAWKER CENTER just outside the Perak Stadium.  During the day, nice local food are easily accessible too and during the evening, different stalls will be opened as well.  Not so much as a tourist spot during the evening, so parking is available without having to go round and round.

This time I took my sisters to try the Chicken Koay Teow, the stall is called Yoon Wah.  I remember our Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh mentioned that she always frequent this stall whenever she is back in Ipoh.  And so instead of her, the Reanaclaire sisters made their footprint to this stall...
The Boss is posing nicely in front of his stall...
Quite a number of varieties sold here...
Steamed chicken with rice, curry chicken, prawn noodles.. etc...
We opted for the simple Chicken Koay Teow...
And a plate of appetizier Paku Pakis in Thai sauce...
I like it cos the sauce is a bit sweet and it's cold too...
And to end our dinner with a Giant Bowl of Ice Kacang....
I really cannot finish the whole bowl, seriously...
Must be shared... for sure.
On another evening, we went for Rojak at another stall....
See, different stalls serve their own style of Ice Kacang...
All look tempting and appealing alright!

  1. That is a big bowl of ice kacang. I seldom take ice kacang. Maybe because of the colour. Scary to me. Lol.

    Rojak looked good.

  5. During my last trip to Ipoh, I saw so many new eating places have sprouted up. Soon Ipoh will overtake Penang for yummy hawker fares.
