The Dubai Diaries: 5 Key Ingredients For Planning The Perfect UAE Adventure

Regular readers of my blog will know that I love to explore the local surroundings. However, we all enjoy visiting new countries too, especially as international travel is more accessible than ever. Dubai is one destination that I need to see, and I’ve already started planning.

I’ve yet to book anything in concrete, but the plans are already in place for when I do. So if you’re looking to visit in the future, this advice will hopefully help.

Dubai, Dubai Marina, Emirates, Gulf, Illuminated

#1. A Great Place To Stay

The first thing to look for in Dubai is the right choice of accommodation. The climate means that a comfortable room at night will be vital. Meanwhile, the opportunity to enjoy an unrivaled sense of luxury means that a great pool will be on the agenda also.

After visiting jumeirah.com, I’d love to book a few nights there. That’s probably little more than a fantasy, but Dubai boasts a long list of fantastic hotels and holiday apartments. And that should be the foundation of a great vacation.

#2. Great Food

Anyone that reads my blog on a regular basis will know that enjoying great food is a continued ambition of mine. I would imagine that great food wouldn’t be quite so high on everyone’s list. Nonetheless, it is a crucial element that goes a long way to creating the perfect holiday.

My research shows that Dubai has plenty to offer in terms of great restaurants. However, I’m most excited about the prospect of eating by the backdrop of beaches, sea, and bright lights.

#3. See The Desert

Dubai is well known for its great shopping and immense luxury. On the other hand, it also boasts a number of enchanting natural rewards. Quite frankly, a trip to the UAE without visiting the Arabian desert would be a missed opportunity.

As well as the incredible scenery, visitors can experience camel rides and a variety of activities. VIP tours at myconcierge.com underline how unique and enjoyable this part of a Dubai holiday can be. Regarding excursions and activities, this is top of the list.

#4. Do A Day On The Beach

Dubai is one of the Middle East’s most popular destinations, and the beaches are one of the most important factors for that popularity.

Even if you love being active, it’s hard to resist a day spent on one of the many great beaches. It’s a chance to relax, top up the tan, and maybe a play a few sports. Given that a holiday is a perfect chance to recharge the batteries, a day at the beach sounds like a winner.

#5. Shop Til I Drop

I’m probably not the world’s biggest shopaholic. But with one of the world’s biggest shopping malls on the doorstep, it seems almost impossible to resist. In truth, simply visiting thedubaimall.com has got me excited in anticipation.

Aside from shopping, the massive venue boasts ice skating and an aquarium. With cinemas and other cool features included too, at least one day will be spent here. And, yes, I will be trying out some of the food establishments also.

Three Hours City Tour At Ensenada, Mexico

A THREE HOURS CITY TOUR when we embarked in Mexico on the second morning.   My sister booked the three hours city tour in Ensenada, Mexico, a van came to pick us up from the port.  Ensenada is the border of Mexico and it reminds me of Hatyai, a border town too between Malaysia and Thailand.  We were taken to a shopping area where we must haggle for the goods.  LOL.. Yes, something common in my own country... Anyway, we did not buy anything for ourselves... just a wooden handmade truck for my grandson which cost $8usd.   Nothing much to shout about on this three hours excursion, I was so sleepy on the way back to the ship that I dozed off and only awaken when we were driven through the town.  All in all, I just wanted to step onto Mexican soil and I would give this a miss if I were to go on this Mexico cruise again.  LOL... At the open area shopping walking towards the Blowhole... This is La Bufadora Blowhole, an amazing natural marine geyser that is capable of shooting water over 60 fe

Exploring The Sea Cruise Royal Caribbean

CRUISING ALONG.... Once we deposited our bags in our cabins, we had our buffet meal at the Hammerjack restaurant and exactly at 4pm, we heard a loud Horn signal...  ITS TIME TO SAIL ALONG THE PACIFIC OCEAN! And while the ship started to sail, we humans started to walk and explore.... to familarize ourselves inside the ship....  Elevators on each side of the ship....  Making my mark....  On another side....  We walked along to check out our food outlets... This Promenade Cafe  had became our regular joint .... We like to sit there enjoying our hot drinks and desserts... Free flow of food day and night.... Passing through the bars to the casino... The casino will open only when the ship is in international waters...  At one of the jackpot machines... I wonder if they are real?? But they are only $1 bundles... Then we went up to the highest floor.... The swimming deck.... Taken against the sun.... Nice sunset in the evening.... The Happy Trio!

The Good, The Bad But Not Ugly

MISSING AND NOW BACK IN ACTION...  I checked back my last post and it was 8 March last month and today is 19 April, less than two months only.  So what has been happening in my life?  Lots and lots... good news, bad news, sad news... all concerning health and I guess this is our life cycle as we live day by day.   My health is also not that "fantastic" during the past few months, but mine is a small rock compared to giant boulder which my best buddy is undergoing... I guess some of you know what is happening to her from her blog posts.  I was totally devastated when this happened to her, my tears couldn't help falling and my heart goes out to her.  I am ashamed to say that instead of me giving the comfort that she needs, I am the one that have been receiving her strength in times like this.  She might be crushed physically but she is not broken in her spiritual mind and soul.  One word... "Unbreakable!"  She is a shining example..... "What can death do to m
