Din Tai Fung And Malaysian Food Street, Gentings

SPENT A COUPLE OF HOURS IN OUR MINI SIZE ROOM TO REFRESH OURSELVES... and soon it was time for Food again!  Dinner time!!  Where shall we go, I asked my girl... and as usual, she knows where and what she wants... for our dinner, we went to Din Tai Fung restaurant, a Taiwanese restaurant.  We had a simple dinner... everything seems to be very pricey... my girl has a small appetite and needless to say, so do I... ahemmmmmm....
A bowl of noodles.. and some desserts... 

This was what we ordered... forgot the price...
Everything seems to be around RM20...
A thousand layers cake.. so it is called.... 
This condiments was served... 
and what I did was to "sapu" the layer cake piece by piece with the
sweet milk and the black sesame paste thereafter.... 
And then I wonder if I was doing it right or not! LOL..... 
My girl ordered this for me... she knows this is my favourite dessert!
Yes, this was our simple dinner for the first night... 
Savoury and Sweet....
After our dinner, it was all walking and exploring... 
Malaysian Food Street was at the other end near Resorts Hotel.....
And the Malaysian food concept such as these....
No, we did not have order any food here... we were already full as proven in this picture..

By the time we went back to our room, we were very tired...
Very soon we were sound asleep 
even it was our first night in an unfamiliar room....

    The noodles and cake look so yummy! I also like the green shutters, and that interesting roof in the last picture. Fabulous and beautiful picture of you and your girl!!! That is my favorite.

    Still alive, this one? Two of the Hong Kong ones already tutup kedai. Why are there a lot of cat statues like the ones in Kuching?

    I like the way their pricing in all the menus. It is quite reasonable and don't slaughter people like before.

    The last photo shows the feng shui elements on the arch which is the eagle's claws to drain everyone's money esp the gamblers. There are more such features inside and it was being shared by a foreign sifu on the TV documentary.

A THREE HOURS CITY TOUR when we embarked in Mexico on the second morning.   My sister booked the three hours city tour in Ensenada, Mexico, a van came to pick us up from the port.  Ensenada is the border of Mexico and it reminds me of Hatyai, a border town too between Malaysia and Thailand.  We were taken to a shopping area where we must haggle for the goods.  LOL.. The Good, The Bad But Not Ugly

MISSING AND NOW BACK IN ACTION...  I checked back my last post and it was 8 March last month and today is 19 April, less than two months only.  So what has been happening in my life?  Lots and lots... good news, bad news, sad news... all concerning health and I guess this is our life cycle as we live day by day.   My health is also not that "fantastic" during the past few months, but mine is a small rock compared to giant boulder which my best buddy is undergoing... Exploring The Sea Cruise Royal Caribbean

CRUISING ALONG.... Once we deposited our bags in our cabins, we had our buffet meal at the Hammerjack restaurant and exactly at 4pm, we heard a loud Horn signal...  ITS TIME TO SAIL ALONG THE PACIFIC OCEAN! And while the ship started to sail, we humans started to walk and explore.... to familarize ourselves inside the ship....  Elevators on each side of the ship....  Making my mark....  On another side....  We walked along to check out our food outlets... This Promenade Cafe  had became our regular joint .... We like to sit there enjoying our hot drinks and desserts... Free flow of food day and night.... Passing through the bars to the casino... The casino will open only when the ship is in international waters...  At one of the jackpot machines... I wonder if they are real?? But they are only $1 bundles... Then we went up to the highest floor.... The swimming deck.... Taken against the sun.... Nice sunset in the evening.... The Happy Trio!
