My Unhealthy Food versus Brisk Walking

FRIENDS ASKED ME WHY I DON'T GAIN WEIGHT... Actually I have "expanded" already, my blouses and pants are getting tighter, that was why I bought a number of new dresses, not because I am vain, just slightly.. but more for the reason that my old clothing do not fit me anymore.  True.. it is true... didn't anyone notice my face is rounder and bigger than before?  LOL....

Each morning before I start my day eating, I stand on the weighing machine, it is the best time of the day to stand on it... I get pretty pleased with myself at this time of the day.  However by the end of the day, the machine will "tell" me that I am one kilo heavier.... yes, no kidding, and that means in one day, I consume one kilo of whatever it is into my body.  How nice!  Then the next morning, I am lighter by less than a kg and end of the day, a kg heavier, and it goes on and on... somehow along the way, I have gained weight... unless I sweat it out on certain days...

For the past few days, I have been consuming these for my breakfast.... and dinner....
Chicken koay teow at Macy, Ipoh Garden East...
Lai Fun plus yellow noodles at the same shop too...
Ordered these to be shared but I ended up eating most of them....
Another morning at Pasir Puteh Hakka Noodles....
To go with the noodles...
Forgot how much I paid... Less than RM20 I know...
One evening my girl and I drove all the way to First Garden night market...
And bought home our dinner consisting of this... Koay Kak...RM3.80
And a very special mixture of this and that with sweet peanut sauce...
I super like it, very difficult to find this in Ipoh... RM5
One afternoon I ate a lot of this homemade Acar in my friend's house...
She seldom make this and when she does, I would go all the way to have them!!
Non-stop eating appetizer, I call it....
So.... after all the heavy carbohydrates, I "burnt" them here at Polo Ground one fine evening..
If not for my girl, I wouldn't be here...
Normally I just walk around my neighborhood and that is it...
Yes, those are my heavy legs....
Very tired after walking one and half rounds....
Play cheat...
Cannot compare to the younger generation who walked 3 Big Rounds...
I have to Postpone the remaining rounds for another day!
LOL...

  6. No, I have not noticed that you look heavier at all! It must be such a tiny bit that no one can see. It is normal to loose a bit, then gain a bit. Depending on what we eat and do during the day. You are still the most beautiful Claire!! Wish I looked half as good as you do!

Three Hours City Tour At Ensenada, Mexico

A THREE HOURS CITY TOUR when we embarked in Mexico on the second morning.   My sister booked the three hours city tour in Ensenada, Mexico, a van came to pick us up from the port.  Ensenada is the border of Mexico and it reminds me of Hatyai, a border town too between Malaysia and Thailand.  We were taken to a shopping area where we must haggle for the goods.  LOL.. Yes, something common in my own country... Anyway, we did not buy anything for ourselves... just a wooden handmade truck for my grandson which cost $8usd.   Nothing much to shout about on this three hours excursion, I was so sleepy on the way back to the ship that I dozed off and only awaken when we were driven through the town.  All in all, I just wanted to step onto Mexican soil and I would give this a miss if I were to go on this Mexico cruise again.  LOL... At the open area shopping walking towards the Blowhole... This is La Bufadora Blowhole, an amazing natural marine geyser that is capable of shooting water over 60 fe

Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner At San Jose 2022

TABLE FOR FOUR... We had our own reunion Chinese New Year dinner on Monday evening.... we made a simple one, just hot pot at home.  All we have to do is to clean the vegetables, get everything defrosted... and the hot pot boiling with a packet of seasoning.  They sell a lot of hot pot seasoning over here, from tomato soup to shrimp and chicken soup, I just threw in the whole packet of paste.  No doubt not so healthy but it is so easily done....  As usual, Chinese New Year won't be CNY without a plate of Loe Sang...  No crackers so I put in a few pieces of Tacos... LOL... Most important is the sauce....  The apricot, plum sauce and honey makes it right.... And our dishes for the evening..... We ate too much shrimps the day before so we omitted for this evening.... Simple and yet satisfying meal for our Reunion Dinner....

Phil's Fish Market And Eatery, Moss Landing

DAY TRIP TO MOSS LANDING...  I did not know what to expect since I had not been there before.  We took an hour plus drive to this seafood place, it is an open air restaurant whereby you can dine by the sea or inside.  We chose the latter, since it was quite windy in the open air.  With a baby kid, it is best to have some warmth inside the restaurant. Yes, there was already a queue by the time we reached there, it was actually between lunch and dinner and yet, patrons were ready to have their meal.  Though the queue looked long, we could get a place within 10 minutes or so.   Almost the same picture but someone was looking at me when I took these...  Almost reaching the finishing line to enter ... Clam Chowder to start off...  Cioppino... A combination of seafood... Mussels, prawns, crabs, clams...  Eat what the fishermen eat... Dip the bread in the sauce... Yes, I like this... Fried chicken chunks...  And I still prefer the Cioppino compared to this....  Baby enjoying his own food befo
