Australia’s Most Popular Travel Destinations

Only 2 months are left in 2017 and it’s time to focus our attention to all of you who had a nice short holiday trip to this beautiful country in their bucket lists.

And since Australia has so much to offer (both in summertime and in winter time) we will try to get the best of both worlds and give you tips on where to go and what to visit when in Australia.

So, stick with us as we bring to you 3 most popular Aussie travel destinations!

Snowy Mountains
Skiing and boarding in the country of kangaroos is something that more and more people do every year. Because of winter season peaking during the European summer months, lots of Europeans prefer to visit Australia for some fun on the snow.

Yes, the country is mainly known for its beautiful beaches and rich wildlife. But if you head a little bit inland you can spend some quality time skiing the slopes of the Snowy Mountains. Numerous ski resorts in the area are abundant with snow throughout the whole season and can host both beginner and advanced skiers.

Also, prices are more than friendly, and you can always find beautiful and affordable accommodation in Thredbo or some other popular ski resort located in the area if you book in advance.

Road Tripping Australia
If snow and low temperatures are not exactly your cup of tea, and if you are more of a backpacking person and love to be on-the-move, then you might consider some of the famous road trips along the Australian coastline.

One of the most notable and most vivid ones is definitely road trip along the Great Ocean Road. Great Ocean Road is around 250 kilometers long trip along the southern coast of the country. It features fantastic landscape and lots of opportunities to soak in the sun and to witness amazing natural scenery such as the famous Island Archway in Victoria.

These trips are a great choice even if you are going on a budget travel trip. Besides the Great Ocean Road, you might as well take into consideration taking the Big Lap, the Savannah Way or the Coral Coast Drive.

Fun in the Aussie Sun
Lastly, since Australia is most widely known as a perfect destination for summer holidays, it is about time we mentioned some of the best beaches Australian coast has to offer.

Bondi Beach, which is very often dubbed as a ‘’surfer’s paradise’’ is where the majority of the tourists choose to go for couple of reasons. First of all, this is definitely one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the continent. Further on, this is where all the fancy bars and restaurants are located and the beach is actually very close to Sydney.

If you’re looking for a more marble-like type of beaches, a little bit more secluded than Bondi Beach then you should definitely visit Byron Bay and its main beach. This is the easternmost point of the Australian mainland. Big waves are also frequent here which makes it perfect for surfers nonetheless.

The last mention on our list will go to the Fraser Island, pride of Queensland. This island is known as the largest sandy island in the world and it features the longest beach on the continent - the ‘’75 Mile Beach’’. The name of the beach is pretty much self-explanatory in terms of how wide this beach really is.

Besides untouched nature, Fraser Island is home to many wild animal species. This is also where you are most probable to see a kangaroo. However, this fact can be taken as a warning sign also as it is known that this crystal clear waters of Fraser Island are hosting lots of tiger sharks in the shallows so you should keep your eyes open.

Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner At San Jose 2022

TABLE FOR FOUR... We had our own reunion Chinese New Year dinner on Monday evening.... we made a simple one, just hot pot at home.  All we have to do is to clean the vegetables, get everything defrosted... and the hot pot boiling with a packet of seasoning.  They sell a lot of hot pot seasoning over here, from tomato soup to shrimp and chicken soup, I just threw in the whole packet of paste.  No doubt not so healthy but it is so easily done....  As usual, Chinese New Year won't be CNY without a plate of Loe Sang...  No crackers so I put in a few pieces of Tacos... LOL... Most important is the sauce....  The apricot, plum sauce and honey makes it right.... And our dishes for the evening..... We ate too much shrimps the day before so we omitted for this evening.... Simple and yet satisfying meal for our Reunion Dinner....

Cookies For Chinese New Year 2022 In San Jose

MISSING IN BLOGGING AGAIN.... this has become a norm now ever since I arrived to this continental... LOL... Now I understand the word of Full Commitment when it comes to taking care of baby... seriously, I have to be fully commited and occupied by this little cheeky fella who is now going to be his 10th month soon.  Wow... time flies, when I first came, he was just slightly over four months... that being said, it is soon time fo rme to pack my bags and leave.  LOL... My 6 months being a babysitter is soon over... and did I say I can hardly wait?  NO, NO... I love my job here and I am going to miss my baby tremendously!  I only don't miss his cries!  LOL...  OK, by the time I write this post, Chinese New Year is over, it is now the 4th day of CNY.  Two days before the Lunar New Year, my daughter-in-law and I cooperated fully and baked a few types of cookies.  Looking back at these pictures, I dare say that we did a good job... not on the cookies but at least we had a great time bond

Buffet Lunch At Baccanal Caesar Palace Hotel, Las Vegas

BUFFET LUNCH... We made reservation for a nice buffet a week before we came to Las Vegas, the buffet is one of its kind in Caesar Palace, Baccanal is the name of the restaurant.  My kids were saying that we must have at least one good and memorable meal while here in Las Vegas and they chose the seafood buffet.  It cost around $90 per pax and being Asians, sure we would be attracted to just seafood!  Alaska Crabs... hairy crabs....lobster claws..  clams etc etc...  Oh, I did not take much photos on what we ate, just too busy stuffing in and to take out the camera with dirty hands and all.  LOL.... Just the initial stage and after that, it was all about eating and eating... oh, by the way, they only allowed 90 minutes in the restaurant, but I don't think they timed anyone... LOL.. Anyway, we took that amount of time to finish our food, sipping free champayne and mocktail too.  What a scrumptious meal... from mains to desserts, I think we only had one meal done for that day itself...
