Malacca Nyonya Desserts At Baba Charlie

THE NEXT DAY WE CHECKED OUT FROM THE HOTEL AROUND NOON...
My son again told me that there is a famous nyonya shop selling all kinds of kueh, light snacks and desserts.  Upon hearing that, I hurried them to make the move before the desserts got sold out!

Using Waze, we managed to find the place, the road leading to the shop was quite narrow nevertheless, that did not deter us from driving through it.  There were many types of "kuehs" and desserts, cookies too... Everything looks so good to me and to them too... and we ended buying nearly a hundred ringgit of goodies to eat on the way back to Johor....
Baba Charlie is the name...
Let's go in!
In the making process....
Fresh from the kitchen...
We went to a "room" to take our pick....
So many choices... and all so fresh and good!
Just choose and pick....
I love these too!
Spoil for choices....
Part of our "loot"...
At the cashier.... where Nyonya Bah Changs are sold too...
Bought a couple to try....
Sorry, no address shown but can easily use Waze to lead to Baba Charlie..
Oh, they have Cafe Cuisine too?
How come we did not notice that?
Next time perhaps.....

  1. Hah, this place is like Moh Teng Pheow Nyonya Koay & Canteen in Penang. Am interested to try all kuehs here.

  5. So fresh and beautiful! What are the red and green, are they hand pies? I am afraid I would have to eat one of everything!
