'Tis The Season To Look Fantastic! Top Tips For Men And Women

When you think about the festive season, it’s easy to focus on female beauty, but a growing number of men are devoting time to looking good too. With the holidays upon us, it’s a time of year when we should all look and feel fabulous. If you love to pamper yourself or your other half is embracing the male grooming trend, here are some top tips.

Seasonal beauty tips
If you want to look your best for the holidays, it’s time to wise up on seasonal beauty tips. The changing weather conditions can wreak havoc on your skin, so take steps to protect your skin and try and make sure you get enough sleep. At this time of year, many people have parties to attend, and this can affect their sleep routine. If you’re not getting enough rest, your skin will soon start to show the tell-tale signs of sleepless nights. Before you get into bed, make sure you cleanse your face, remove makeup and apply moisturizer or hydrating serum. It’s also a good idea to ensure that you drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and to exfoliate once a week to remove dead skin cells.

If you’re dressing up for parties or you’re looking forward to spending time with friends and family, you can be a little bolder with your makeup looks. If you’ve got an event to attend or you’re going out for a celebratory dinner, why not switch up your color palette and go for a more audacious look with a smoky eye or a statement lip? If you prefer a more natural look, make sure your skin is well moisturized before applying your base and add a flush of color with blush or bronzer to lift your complexion.

Male grooming tips
It’s not just women that take pride in their appearance. Most men also care about how they look. The male grooming industry is booming, and there are all kinds of products and gadgets on offer. If you’re looking for gift inspiration or you’re trying to get your other half into grooming, take a look at sites like Manly Matters, read some reviews and see what kind of products are on the market. Skincare is really important, especially if you’re braving wintry conditions in colder countries and it’s also important to take good care of the hair and facial hair. If you delve deeper into the market, you’ll find everything from nose trimmers and electric shavers to beard oil and masculine moisturizers.

Are you a fan of the latest beauty and makeup trends or has your partner started to take an interest in male grooming? With the festive season upon us, there’s no better time to make an effort to look and feel your best. Hopefully, these tips will come in handy! Look after your skin, learn more about which makeup looks suit and complement you and research products and beauty gadgets. If you’re on the hunt for products for your partner, take a look online and read some reviews.

An Evening Dinner At Chef Chew Kitchen, Petaling Jaya

BACK TO SG. BULOH for a couple of days.... Come evening, we went for dinner at Chef Chew Kitchen in Seksyen 19, Petaling Jaya.  Since it was my first time there, I did not know what to expect except to sit back, relax and eat.  LOL... It is a one shop lot restaurant so tables are very limited.  Reservation was made at 6pm to be on the safe side, to avoid crowds and waiting for food was very minimized at this time of the day.  For the seven of us, these dishes were served on the table... Thumbs up even before the dinner...  And soon these are served...  Claypot braised ribs...  Their signature dish... Fish Maw...  First time eating fish maw which is whitish in colour...  Black Beancurd with Pumpkin sauce... Hey, this restaurant indeed serves new to me! This must be Sweet Sauce Chicken... For the American... Cos we Asians like Steamed Chicken like this!  LOL...  And the star dish of the dinner is this...  Freshly steamed and succulent prawns

Our Orders From Afghanistan, Spanish And Australia

My Final post on the Food Festival in the Victoria Market on Wednesday night.... The atmosphere at the market was "enhanced" by the cheerful songs and music by a group band... It was indeed a merry evening filled with music-licous folk songs in the air... . Ok, how to find four seats in this crowd.... hmmmm....... Somehow we managed to... and these were what my boys brought back to our table.... Mexican rice with oysters... or is it Spanish rice?   Both are the same, I guess... LOL.... Afghanistan Food.... chunks of chicken meat with naan.... Brazilian food.... don't ask me what it is.... I just ate what was on the table....  But I am amazed by this giant burger....  ..... and what burger is this? They told me it is Crocodile Tail Burger! Meat from the crocodile tail?  Is it just a name or what... I really don't know... Took a few bites of it... and I am full!! Well, these were the food we

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...  Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch
