My Presence At Mount Fuji, Japan

CHECKED OUT EARLY ON THE 4TH DAY TO MOUNT FUJI!

It was really cold, thank goodness of my lightweight winter jacket, though it makes me "bloated" up, it also gives me a the heat that I desperately need then.  As usual after our early breakfast, we checked out and the as the bus moved out, the friendly staff bowed and waved at us happily.... such nice and warm gestures from them.  No wonder my country responded to the "Look East Policy" many years ago... how much we learn from them.... oh well.....

Mount Fuji, it is a dormant volcano with a height of 3776 meters and the highest mountain in Japan.  We stopped at the first peak... 1291 meters, at least this time I managed to go there and picked up some photos... LOL.....
As the bus drove pass.....
This is where the buses stopped...
Oh my goodness!  People here and there again!
Yes, snow and more snow here and there....
Have to be pretty careful stepping on these... for yours truly!
One couple kept slipping and falling on each other.... so happily too!
Mount Fuji from this angle.....
And my crazy poses as I made my Mark here!
Fly, fly and awwwaaaayyyyyy.......

Our Orders From Afghanistan, Spanish And Australia

My Final post on the Food Festival in the Victoria Market on Wednesday night.... The atmosphere at the market was "enhanced" by the cheerful songs and music by a group band... It was indeed a merry evening filled with music-licous folk songs in the air... . Ok, how to find four seats in this crowd.... hmmmm....... Somehow we managed to... and these were what my boys brought back to our table.... Mexican rice with oysters... or is it Spanish rice?   Both are the same, I guess... LOL.... Afghanistan Food.... chunks of chicken meat with naan.... Brazilian food.... don't ask me what it is.... I just ate what was on the table....  But I am amazed by this giant burger....  ..... and what burger is this? They told me it is Crocodile Tail Burger! Meat from the crocodile tail?  Is it just a name or what... I really don't know... Took a few bites of it... and I am full!! Well, these were the food we

My Failed Project In Baking Mini Egg Cakes

FAILED THIS TIME..... I don't know why, I follow exactly the ingredients and the method written in her website but it was not successful.  Something went wrong somewhere but I don't think I want to try it again.  This recipe is called Mini Egg Cake which is supposed to be soft, airy, light sponge cake but the way I made them, they turned out hard and crusty cake.   If I try again one day, I will half the portion... cos I like to eat these traditional egg cakes.... The Ingredients...  No point putting the recipe here since I failed..  LOL...  The portions of this recipe....  It looked very promising when I put them into the oven.... Even when they were in the baking process... they look good, aren't they? LOL...  I was so happy just by looking at the mini egg cakes in the tray....  And after they were let out... my heart sank....  The minute I took them out from the tray, I knew... Hard at the top...  Tak Jadi = Failed.... Now come to t

Home Cooked Dishes

NOT MUCH HAPPENING... and lazy too.... My neighbour gave me half pumpkin and I have been keeping it for a couple of days before I finally decide what to do with it.  I cook it into small chunks and sauteed it with minced meat, okra and basil leaves.  Yes, it would be great to put in some small cilipadi but unfortunately, I did not find any in my fridge.  Steamed a bowl of rice and that was meal for dinner.... One dish meal....  Pumpkin reminds me of sweet potatoes...sweet after cooking... Another dinner meal consist of Sambal Fish, black pepper met and a hard boiled egg  I only boiled the egg, the other two dishes were "sponsored" by my neighbour... LOL...
