How The Other Half Travel

By the other half, we mean the richy rich. We all end up in the same destination, but the types of holidays we have are completely different. When you think about how the other half holiday, you might imagine a butler waiting on them hand and foot, a car to take them wherever they want, and the most luxurious hotel room. Well, you’re not really far off. But whilst we assume we can’t achieve a holiday like this, it’s time to think about whether you actually might be able to. How the other half travel is slightly more expensive, but if you save like you usually would do for a holiday, with just a little bit of extra effort, you could easily afford that lavish holiday, and have a taste of how the other half travel. Here’s a little bit of information to show you how a holiday for the other half goes down.

Travelling In Style

Travelling in style is something they really do know how to do best. Forget going economy on a Ryanair flight, they really do splash the cash and go all out. But when you’re going on a longhaul flight, you do want to be in the most comfort that you can possibly be in. So, always check out what the first class situation is like, or at least what the business class is like. It will be expensive, there’s no denying that. But the price you pay for the comfort and treatment of first class is going to be more than worth it. Think seats that lie down to go into a comfy bed, free drinks all throughout the flight, as much food as you want… the list could go on. A lot of them even chose to hire private jets. Now, whether this is out of your price range or not, it’s a cool thing to consider. You can learn more about where you might be able to take a private jet to, you’d be surprised at the number of airports that accept them! You’ll also want to take a look at the prices too. If you were to do that, it really would have to be a once in a lifetime thing, but you would definitely be travelling in style if you opted for that. If not, then first class or business class should do the trick.

Luxurious Locations

This really is something that the other half know how to do best. The amount of locations that they end up in around the world is just incredible. Let’s start with possibly one of the most amazing, and definitely the most dreamy. You’ve got Bora Bora for one. It’s a statement of luxury, and one that only a select few people get to go to. You know the pictures with the huts sitting above the most crystal blue waters, with a bathroom looking out over the sea, and a bed so big you could fit a whole family in? Well, there are some people who actually get to experience that. A holiday to Bora Bora is perhaps one of the most expensive. A minimum spend of around £3000 per person is needed for just a week, and that will be for a very basic package. If you wanted to go all out, you would need around double that… per person. So now you see why it’s a holiday pretty much only suited for the rich and for the lucky.

Luxurious Treatment

The other half wouldn’t settle for anything less. The places that they chose to go will all have 5* treatment available, and that’s what they’ll want. Out of the three, this is definitely something you’re going to be able to to afford. Simple holidays in a 5* hotel will give you the best treatment in the world, and will offer some of the most amazing facilities as well. All you have to be sure of is that you’re willing to spend a couple of hundred extra to get this type of treatment. You can expect free messages whenever you want, breakfast in bed, a fresh room every day, and drinks being brought to you whilst you’re lounging around the pool. A package holiday with a 5* hotel really won’t be that expensive. Just make sure you’re shopping around to get the best deal, and always go all inclusive if you want a little taste of luxury… and to save a little money!

So, now you see how the other half travel, and how it might not be that hard for you to do the same!

Three Hours City Tour At Ensenada, Mexico

A THREE HOURS CITY TOUR when we embarked in Mexico on the second morning.   My sister booked the three hours city tour in Ensenada, Mexico, a van came to pick us up from the port.  Ensenada is the border of Mexico and it reminds me of Hatyai, a border town too between Malaysia and Thailand.  We were taken to a shopping area where we must haggle for the goods.  LOL.. Yes, something common in my own country... Anyway, we did not buy anything for ourselves... just a wooden handmade truck for my grandson which cost $8usd.   Nothing much to shout about on this three hours excursion, I was so sleepy on the way back to the ship that I dozed off and only awaken when we were driven through the town.  All in all, I just wanted to step onto Mexican soil and I would give this a miss if I were to go on this Mexico cruise again.  LOL... At the open area shopping walking towards the Blowhole... This is La Bufadora Blowhole, an amazing natural marine geyser that is capable of shooting water over 60 fe

Exploring The Sea Cruise Royal Caribbean

CRUISING ALONG.... Once we deposited our bags in our cabins, we had our buffet meal at the Hammerjack restaurant and exactly at 4pm, we heard a loud Horn signal...  ITS TIME TO SAIL ALONG THE PACIFIC OCEAN! And while the ship started to sail, we humans started to walk and explore.... to familarize ourselves inside the ship....  Elevators on each side of the ship....  Making my mark....  On another side....  We walked along to check out our food outlets... This Promenade Cafe  had became our regular joint .... We like to sit there enjoying our hot drinks and desserts... Free flow of food day and night.... Passing through the bars to the casino... The casino will open only when the ship is in international waters...  At one of the jackpot machines... I wonder if they are real?? But they are only $1 bundles... Then we went up to the highest floor.... The swimming deck.... Taken against the sun.... Nice sunset in the evening.... The Happy Trio!

The Good, The Bad But Not Ugly

MISSING AND NOW BACK IN ACTION...  I checked back my last post and it was 8 March last month and today is 19 April, less than two months only.  So what has been happening in my life?  Lots and lots... good news, bad news, sad news... all concerning health and I guess this is our life cycle as we live day by day.   My health is also not that "fantastic" during the past few months, but mine is a small rock compared to giant boulder which my best buddy is undergoing... I guess some of you know what is happening to her from her blog posts.  I was totally devastated when this happened to her, my tears couldn't help falling and my heart goes out to her.  I am ashamed to say that instead of me giving the comfort that she needs, I am the one that have been receiving her strength in times like this.  She might be crushed physically but she is not broken in her spiritual mind and soul.  One word... "Unbreakable!"  She is a shining example..... "What can death do to m
