Makan Group At Weng Kee Restaurant, Ipoh

FOOD IS ALL AROUND WHEN HE IS BACK...

He miss a lot of Ipoh food, too many places he wanted to encounter but too little time to cover them all in a matter of just four days here in Ipoh.  Anyway, we try to prioritize the places, each night we suggested some places for the next day and we make decisions from there.  LOL... This is what I called Intensive Food Course.

On this evening, we chose Weng Kee Restaurant in Ipoh Garden South.  It has been a long while since we went there actually.  As usual, early birds will get a good table but by 7pm, this place will be full cos it is just a shop lot.  Parking is easily accessible, food taste is still good and the prices of course, will be slightly different, that is a bit higher than the last time we came here.
This is their signature dish.... Buttered Crispy Fish...
My girl will definitely be drooling when she sees this!
We ordered a mixed veg... .
Kapital Chicken.... overflowing curry...
He misses the steamed eggs... salted, century and the normal ones..
Four different types of beans....
And of course, I must order this cos it's my favorite!!
Steamed yam with dried prawns and lard!!
For desserts, we had steamed custard egg....
And the "Makan" group for the evening.....
As for the price, it came to around RM170 if not mistaken...

  1. All the dishes, right up to the dessert I like. How different is Kapitan chicken from curry chicken or rendang chicken?
