Wonder Food Is Wonderful

SIGHTSEEING TIME....

First stop to a place called Wonder Food.  Though I have come to Penang numerous times, I had not stepped inside this place before until this time in October 2018.  Now that I have visited Wonder Food, it is really worth paying the entrance fee to get the feel of Malaysian food which really makes me drool over and over again.  Kudos to those talented artists who have put in so much effort to make the Food comes alive in Penang and our different culture from the yesteryears where food was served on the street sidewalks and being sold from house to house.

Entrance fee is RM15 for those who are below 60 and RM10 for seniors like me...  LOL...
Here is the entrance... Jom, let's go in!
Yes, waking up now!
GIANT FOOD COMES ALIVE HERE!
PROUD TO BE MALAYSIAN...
I sent one of these pictures to my friend...
He really thought these are for real!! LOL...
Food brings people together...
During the golden years, everything was sold on bicycles or
by walking around either for breakfast, lunch, dinner or supper!
All kinds of cakes and biscuits are sold in metal containers during the olden days...
Yes, very true!!
This is a common sight during my young young days!
So simple... and yet so tasty!
Everyone live simple during those days...
Part of some Malaysian food of all races...
How I wish they were REAL!
Really had a fun time going through the whole Wonder Food place here in Penang....
This place makes me feel that I am so thankful and proud to be a Malaysian!

  4. This is awesome! Both the "food" and the paintings. Tells the entire history of your food! I don't think we have a place like this at all. And they even let you touch things, much more fun!
