How to Improve and Boost Your Mental Health

Some people think that getting the help of a therapist is considered to be taboo. They feel that it will show that they are weak or that they are losing their minds. You need to go to the therapist in order to talk about your feelings. A lot of people do not have a support group that they can speak with during their darkest times.

When you feel troubled, do not hesitate to undergo therapy. It will make you feel better when you are able to unload your feelings. It will allow you to make realizations about your life as well.

Allow Yourself to Stay Active

When was the last time that you have made an effort to exercise? A lot of people do not exercise anymore because they say that they are too busy. You can just give half an hour to do some exercises every day. It will already make a lot of difference with your health. Remember that when you exercise, you are also improving your vital organs.

Make an Effort to Eat Well

What are the things that you eat? Do you eat junk food all the time? There may be moments when you cannot help but resist eating chocolates. You can always stay healthy by supplying your body with the right nutrients and minerals that it needs through the proper food. You can search online for meal plans that you can follow. Going to a nutritionist may be very helpful too.

Keep Yourself Hydrated

Water is known to be one of the most if not the most important liquid here on earth. Drinking enough water will make sure that all of your vital organs will work properly. This will also make sure that you can function well. Do you know that when you are dehydrated, you will find it harder to think? The number of glasses that you should drink in a day will depend on your body type and your activity level.

Keep in Touch with People You Love

Do you find yourself alone all the time? Even if you know that you can sustain yourself, the things that you buy for yourself will only make you happy for a short time. Now is the right time for you to keep in touch with people that you truly care for. A simple lunch or dinner with friends and family members will make a lot of difference.

Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner At San Jose 2022

TABLE FOR FOUR... We had our own reunion Chinese New Year dinner on Monday evening.... we made a simple one, just hot pot at home.  All we have to do is to clean the vegetables, get everything defrosted... and the hot pot boiling with a packet of seasoning.  They sell a lot of hot pot seasoning over here, from tomato soup to shrimp and chicken soup, I just threw in the whole packet of paste.  No doubt not so healthy but it is so easily done....  As usual, Chinese New Year won't be CNY without a plate of Loe Sang...  No crackers so I put in a few pieces of Tacos... LOL... Most important is the sauce....  The apricot, plum sauce and honey makes it right.... And our dishes for the evening..... We ate too much shrimps the day before so we omitted for this evening.... Simple and yet satisfying meal for our Reunion Dinner....

My White Elephant

WHITE ELEPHANT.... still laying on my table for two months I think....   My friend groomer is not free these days, my poor Labby badly needs her hair cut and leaving no choice, I ordered the grooming shaver online.  I thought it would be easy to install the shaver to the appliance and till today, I am still at my wits end on how it is fixed.  My friend gave me a tip... check out the Youtube, she said.  Yeah, how come I did not think of that.....  But till today, I have not even touched it and my poor furry member will have to wait till this Mama has her right mood to do it.   My own hair also badly needs a hair cut and with the high Covid cases each day, I guess I have to tolerate for another month with my unruly hair..... or perhaps I can make use of this clipper on myself before I use it on my furry member!  LOL.... Crazy me! Still standing nicely on the table....  Still looking at the gadgets.... and not doing anything about them... I am happy with this dish....  Better looking afte

Two Dishes One Soup Dinner

AUNTIE'S SIMPLE COOKING... for dinner on one evening.... Defrosted a piece of cod, my last piece in the freezer besides another few more pieces of other types of fish.  I think I consume the most fish this year, never bought so many types of fish before.  Maybe it is made easier for me this year cos of the online shopping at Gracious, cleaned, vacuumed and free delivery above RM50.   My last piece of cod.... A plate of greens called Yau Mak...  Not so sure what it is called in English And chicken herbal soup....  My complete meal for one evening....  As usual, I do not take much rice... Or perhaps I did not take rice at all for this meal....  LOL...
