Second Day Of CHINESE NEW YEAR

ON THE SECOND DAY....

Not sure what happened to the reunion pictures of CNY, I could not locate them anywhere, perhaps I did not take any on that evening!  How could that be??  Now thinking back, I must have been busy cooking or what?  cough.. cough...  Not sure what happened but the dishes were quite similar to the second day, with two big chickens which I managed to steamed and cut up for the reunion dinner.  Other than that, I also contributed a vegetarian dish with just mushrooms, fish maw and abalones.  :)  The rest was done by my in-laws as usual...

The table has been faithfully served our reunion dinners for the past 20 years or so, the size is still the same, but somehow this year, we have to "squeeze" ourselves around the table.... It must be due to the sizes, all of us must have grown sideways... LOL... Most probably in 2020, we have to find an extended table for the 15 of us!  Or 16 or 17 even!!  LOL...
Started with the auspicious dish called Loe Sang...
Should have taken a picture after mixing them up...
What a mess!
