Dining Out At Public Mun Choong Restaurant, Ipoh

DINE OUT....  after two days of homecooked food, we ventured out to eat at Public Restaurant in town.  The last time we came here was during Chinese New Year which was nearly 5 months ago.  To our surprise, the restaurant filled up when we were eating half-way.  This restaurant is still hanging in there despite the lockdown for several months, unlike some other prestigious restaurants which closed due to the monthly rental and so forth.

We ordered two plates of noodles and two bowls of rice to go with the dishes below....
Prawns in claypot ....
There were 2 prawns for each of us...
My kids love this dish...
BBQ pork belly... a bit too sweet for me...
A mixture of this and that....
Their signature crispy cod fish...
Fried meehoon....
Fried Hakka noodles...
All these for the 4 of us.....
Total cost came to Rm262....
After this meal, I guess we have to wait for another 5 months to come again!
LOL...

  4. So good, so many people. Here, they are all rather empty, not like before. Hopefully, they will manage to survive. Claypot prawns look so good.
