Asow Eatery Station At Jalan Tambun, Ipoh

LANDSCAPING AND CAFE.... 2 IN 1...  Before MCO, my friends and I went Asow Eatery Station, Jalan Tambun.  I had not heard of this place until a friend from Klang told me about it.  I, being a local, did not know or heard about this place though outstation people have been talking much about it.  My outstation friends asked me about this place during Chinese New Year and I answered, "Got meh?"

And after CNY, we went to "explore" out this place in Tambun.  Asow is the name, I was quite impressed by the decoration, mostly greens... after all, it is about landscaping, nursery and cafe...
At the entrance, do not pull or push, just slide the door open....
First question upon entrance... "Any reservation?"
Since we were the early birds, they had a table for us....
The ambience is quite nice....
Greens everywhere...
Slowly, the people dwindled in....
While waiting for the food, we walked outside the nursery....
Potted flowers too...
More greens were seen....
First time visit, my friends ordered Lemon Chicken....
Looks good, taste good too.... according to them....
Price around RM22 or RM24... forgotten already...
For me, I tried their Aglio Olio with grilled chicken...
Angel hair spaghetti... I like!
Price also around RM22 plus...
Second time visit, my son ordered Grilled Chicken Burger...
I just tried a quarterly portion...
I also told my kids to order the lemon chicken....
As for me, I had the Oglio Olio again!!
This time there was no broccoli seen....
I think one day I will try cooking this myself...
Looks easy, right?
LOL...

An Evening Dinner At Chef Chew Kitchen, Petaling Jaya

BACK TO SG. BULOH for a couple of days.... Come evening, we went for dinner at Chef Chew Kitchen in Seksyen 19, Petaling Jaya.  Since it was my first time there, I did not know what to expect except to sit back, relax and eat.  LOL... It is a one shop lot restaurant so tables are very limited.  Reservation was made at 6pm to be on the safe side, to avoid crowds and waiting for food was very minimized at this time of the day.  For the seven of us, these dishes were served on the table... Thumbs up even before the dinner...  And soon these are served...  Claypot braised ribs...  Their signature dish... Fish Maw...  First time eating fish maw which is whitish in colour...  Black Beancurd with Pumpkin sauce... Hey, this restaurant indeed serves new to me! This must be Sweet Sauce Chicken... For the American... Cos we Asians like Steamed Chicken like this!  LOL...  And the star dish of the dinner is this...  Freshly steamed and succulent prawns

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...  Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch

Night Market Along Lee Garden Plaza Hotel, Hatyai

BY THE TIME WE REACHED THE HOTEL, it was almost dark. This time round, we took a longer rest in the hotel... my girl might not need it but I certainly did!  After recharging around 80% of my body strength, we were ready to explore the streets again. Our hotel is really a strategic spot for us tourists.  The street vendors were all ready to boost their sales in front, at the side and along the whole stretch of street where we stayed.  Left, right, front... the place was filled with people and tourists like us... I could hear some of them speaking my dialect, we felt kind of at home instead of being tourists.... Besides the street vendors in front of the hotel, there was a night market just five minutes walking distance away from our hotel, Lee Garden Plaza.... Maybe they only opened during the weekends?  I am not sure about that.. .anyway, we were kind of excited to see all the bright lights along the street.... Come... Let's Go! We started from the beginning of the str
