Thai Cuisine At Blue Chang, Penang

UP NORTH.... Since interstate traveling was lifted up, we had gone up to Penang two times already.  This second time, we went on Saturday, stayed two nights and came back on Monday.  Cititel Express offered a good rate, cheaper than the first time we went.  Many of you must be asking, "Is it safe to stay in hotel?"  I cannot guarantee it is safe or not but we did go and stayed there for the second time already.  Just take the necessary precautions, cleaning and changing each time from each outing....

During this trip we visited a new place called Blue Chang, it is a Thai cuisine restaurant, highly recommended by a friend.  He even told us what dishes to order and we ended up ordering five dishes for only the four or us.  Upon entering the premises, we had to follow the strict procedures as usual, taking our temperature and scanning the QR code plus sanitizing our hands.  Then we had to sit diagonally from each other, two on one side.
Nice ambiance ... the elephants are the logo in this place....
The table mat in front of me....
Appetizer platter....
This is a special fish dish... not spicy but heavily flavoured...
Highly recommended by the staff who took our order....
Pork curry... a bit too creamy and sweet due to the thick creamy coconut milk....
Crispy fried oyster omelette....
And a bowl of clear soup tomyam but equally spicy as the red one...
One bowl for each of us.....
To go with these dishes, I must have rice....
Here's the number to call...
Need to call up to reserve just in case....
And this spicy dinner cost RM196 for the 4 of us....
Inclusive of the lemongrass drink which cost RM6 per glass...
My son had a hard time drinking it... LOL...

  3. All the food look good but is either too spicy or too heavily flavoured for me when I don't want to eat a lot of rice.

  5. Thai cuisine is always appetizing and mouth watering. I will go for the clear tom yam soup. Yes, lemon grass drink is not everyone's cup of tea. Hahahaaa...
