Sharing Our Homecooked Food

POT BLESS...  These few days I have been eating homecooked food at my friend's place.  Each of us bring something over and before we do,  we tell each other on what to cook so that the dishes are more or less balanced.  LOL...  I really prefer it this way, homecooked food is always more healthy, less oily and no Mr. Aji to enhance the flavour.

These dishes below are on two days' meal, we had our dinner at 4pm for these two days!  LOL... Not sure it is called dinner or not, some called it "lunner" if there is such a word, that is.  :)  We had our dinner early because we did not take lunch on these two days.  Secondly, there is more time to digest before we call it a day.

Our meal for four people....
Prawn and pineapple curry cooked by my friend...
She cook this dish too... my favourite...
Best eaten with lettuce which was not shown in the picture...
It was only served when it was time to eat!
I baked some chicken wings...
Oh yeah, I bought a piece of Otak-Otak from Bee Gaik...
And a packet of fried rice too...

Yesterday we had these for our dinner...
Without rice this time.... I am now used to taking dinner without rice...
I baked some walnut cupcakes for dessert...
and my friend brought Rojak (mixed fruits) too....
Our meals are complete!

  1. A little bit of Aji is fine, just don't overdo it like what they do in the Chinese restaurants. Otak looks good and your friend's prawn and pineapple curry too!
