Spending Money At Home

MY PURCHASES...  I go online shopping these days, it is the only choice since I do not go out shopping anymore in the malls.

The latest and heavyweight purchase I ever made was my Dell laptop in December, 2020.  I thought I did not post about it but I certainly had done so after making a search a moment ago.  What I have not post yet is the Dell Optical Mouse with wire.  I just received it from Shopee just now.  I bought it for RM15 with free shipping, a good deal since it is from Dell.  I have a wireless mouse but it is not so practical, the two AA batteries conk out very fast especially when I forget to turn it off when I am not using.

My new mouse for my new laptop...
And what is this?
My hair brush!  It broke into two when it fell down on the floor....
Not because I have hair made of steel if you are wondering...
LOL....
I thought of plastering it back... but then... what the heck...
That broken brush gave me an opportunity to browse Shopee again!
Arrived yesterday after making the order two days back....
Very fast service... free shipping too...
The comb cost RM19....
Not sure cheap or not...
But surely can last me for at least 2 years
provided it does not fall too often and my hair is silky smooth!
LOL....

  1. The hair brushes look identical, just a different colour. You forgot to switch off your mouse? Oh dear!!! Take gingko nuts to improve your memory. LOL!!!

  2. So for forgetful aunties like me, better not buy wireless mouse. I like your new hair brush, nice colour.

  3. The wireless mouse should have had auto-off feature. :D

  4. Online shopping is very convenient now. Good that you are ok to buy things online.

  5. Now that I do not have a desktop or laptop I do not need a mouse. I also prefer to use mouse with a wire.

My Failed Project In Baking Mini Egg Cakes

FAILED THIS TIME..... I don't know why, I follow exactly the ingredients and the method written in her website but it was not successful.  Something went wrong somewhere but I don't think I want to try it again.  This recipe is called Mini Egg Cake which is supposed to be soft, airy, light sponge cake but the way I made them, they turned out hard and crusty cake.   If I try again one day, I will half the portion... cos I like to eat these traditional egg cakes.... The Ingredients...  No point putting the recipe here since I failed..  LOL...  The portions of this recipe....  It looked very promising when I put them into the oven.... Even when they were in the baking process... they look good, aren't they? LOL...  I was so happy just by looking at the mini egg cakes in the tray....  And after they were let out... my heart sank....  The minute I took them out from the tray, I knew... Hard at the top...  Tak Jadi = Failed.... Now come to t

Home Cooked Dishes

NOT MUCH HAPPENING... and lazy too.... My neighbour gave me half pumpkin and I have been keeping it for a couple of days before I finally decide what to do with it.  I cook it into small chunks and sauteed it with minced meat, okra and basil leaves.  Yes, it would be great to put in some small cilipadi but unfortunately, I did not find any in my fridge.  Steamed a bowl of rice and that was meal for dinner.... One dish meal....  Pumpkin reminds me of sweet potatoes...sweet after cooking... Another dinner meal consist of Sambal Fish, black pepper met and a hard boiled egg  I only boiled the egg, the other two dishes were "sponsored" by my neighbour... LOL...

Our Orders From Afghanistan, Spanish And Australia

My Final post on the Food Festival in the Victoria Market on Wednesday night.... The atmosphere at the market was "enhanced" by the cheerful songs and music by a group band... It was indeed a merry evening filled with music-licous folk songs in the air... . Ok, how to find four seats in this crowd.... hmmmm....... Somehow we managed to... and these were what my boys brought back to our table.... Mexican rice with oysters... or is it Spanish rice?   Both are the same, I guess... LOL.... Afghanistan Food.... chunks of chicken meat with naan.... Brazilian food.... don't ask me what it is.... I just ate what was on the table....  But I am amazed by this giant burger....  ..... and what burger is this? They told me it is Crocodile Tail Burger! Meat from the crocodile tail?  Is it just a name or what... I really don't know... Took a few bites of it... and I am full!! Well, these were the food we
