Official Day Of Becoming Grand Auntie

SUNDAY MORNING UP IN THE LARK... but I did not take a walk in the park..
Anyway, it was a beautiful Sunday today....

We went for breakfast at Cathay restaurant, actually it is a shop lot, but nowadays most eatery places are either called restaurant or cafes, no more mentioning of coffeeshops as in those days.  The last time I came to Cathay restaurant, I did not dine in, I just bought the Hakka noodles and went home to eat.  This morning we sat in, ordered one plate of Hakka noodles with 4 types of fish paste (yong tau foo) and ordered a Hainanese French Toast.

Oh dear, I did not give much credit to this yummy French Toast....
When it arrived, it was so yummy looking that I tucked them into my mouth straightaway.... and by the time I took this, it had become so gross looking! I must go again... this french toast was really something!
Again, I did not have a good angle on this plate of Hakka Noodles...
I had already tucked in a mouthful before I remember to take this...
I must be super hungry this morning!
Ok, I admit my photo taking today is really out...
I received two boxes of goodies from my sister...
I am now promoted to become "Grand-Auntie"
LOL...
Inside the box are two red eggs, two angku and some ginger...
And in another bigger box is this...
Pandan layer cake which I should have taken too..
So nowadays full moon baby...
They come in sets like this...
Those days I remember it was either roasted pork or chicken...
Maybe this is easier and less messy...
LOL...
