Our Dining In At Chuen Kah Fook, Falim

FRIDAY EVENT... I met up with my friends again, I guess this will be a regular dine out on every Friday.  Other days, I will be cooped up in the house... ahemmm.. and it is nice to catch up with my friends once a week.  Just continue to take precautions and follow the SOP, our lives will slowly get back to the old norm...

This time we went to Chuen Kah Fook restaurant in Falim.  We have been there several times and we like the food there.  However this time, we were a bit disappointed with the food taste, perhaps it is a different cook this time round? It is not surprising, with the strict conditions for so many months already, I am sure many restaurants have lost their best cooks too.

We ordered the below dishes for the 6 of us.

Assam Fish Slices...
Yau mak...
Yam and pumpkin in claypot...
Beancurd with pork tendons...
Half portion of steamed chicken...
And spinach soup....
For this dishes, the bill came to RM150plus minus...
Well, I guess the pricing is not too bad...
Only the taste is a somehow different from the last time we went...

  1. It's too bad the taste is not as good as before. I have such experience too and end up not going back.

  2. Wowwww!!! You sure go out quite a lot! Aren't the number of cases quite bad in Perak on certain days? Ok in Ipoh, perhaps! Sibu, terrible! The worst in the state...so I never go out!!!

  3. Drooling looking at the assam curry. Hubby and I do go out for breakfast most of the day. Very early, so not crowded.
