My six months of stay in US has finally came to an end. It is time to pack my bags and go home. I have mixed emotions, part of me wants to go back to where I belong but a bigger part of me wanted to stay back. Unfortunately I could not and I have to accept that I need to go home... I know I will miss my love ones, especially the smallest one of them all who has captured my heart for the past six months. I have seen him grown, from a four months plus baby to 10 plus.
Back to my current post, the day before I left, I suggested going to Olive Garden for Italian food. This is one of the best restaurants with the best price, of course. Best price to me means the food is nice and yet cheap. Endless sourdough buns which comes out fresh and warm, endless soup.... what more could I ask....
For starters, we have fried crispy shrimps....
It was the special for the day... $14
Not endless though... LOL....
Sourdough buns....
Salad is bottomless too....
I forgot the price...
Minestrone soup....
For a small price, I can drink endlessly....
And I can also change to a different soup too.....
Spaghetti with Lasagna...
Too filling for me....
Hi Claire, it is good to see a post from you.We really like Olive Garden! So is there any way you could just move here?
ReplyDeleteSo very sad that you could not stay, I wonder why? You wanted to come back? I would just stay there for good, spend all the time with your grandson, so much joy!!! Nothing back here to look forward to, is there?
ReplyDeleteCome! Come to Sibu! The borders are open now, very cheap here, bring all your friends along!
Love the look of all the food that you had - they all look so good.
I like the food in olive garden too. Last time there is a branch in Midvalley mall but is now closed.
ReplyDeleteI know why you said it is the best. The food really look the best.
ReplyDeleteBet you be missing your family. Hope you get to see them again. Welcome back to Malaysia!!
All the food look good especially the salad. I have been to Olive Garden in Boston and when the server asked me "Soup or salad"? I misheard her as "Super salad" and I replied "Yes". LOL!
ReplyDeleteTorn between your love ones in US and those nearer to home. Never mind, you can travel to and fro and visit them whenever possible. The food looks delicious.
