Well, as for the palaces, you see one, you see all... hahaha... perhaps only for us. We are not historians nor a passionate one. Anyway, if it is part of the excursion, so we have to go along with it. As Asians, we are more interested in Food and Shopping, don't you agree? LOL.. Oh, of course, taking lots and lots of memories in our photographing....
Back on the cruise, I relaxed at the balcony....
... till it was time to go for our fine dining at 7.20pm....
I think palaces are in the same category as churches and shopping malls - seen one see all LOL! That's the thing with guided tour, some places they take us to, we are not that into it. Glad that you are having a gala time travelling!
ReplyDeleteGood to see you, Claire! Looks like you have become a world traveler in your retirement. There are a lot of people with you!
ReplyDeleteThis made me smile. The red packets at the end are such a sweet touch, no wonder the guides light up. That’s a memory they won’t forget. I had to laugh at “see one palace, see them all.” You’re honest, I like that. But tell me, was there at least one room or detail that surprised you? Did the food and shopping win out as they usually do? The balcony moment sounds perfect though. Cruise air, quiet time, then dressing up for dinner at 7:20 sharp. That part I would never skip. I hope your weekend is filled with joy and relaxation. I’ve just shared a new travel post too, you’re warmly invited to read it when you have a moment: www.melodyjacob.com
