To Kota With Love...

STARTED OFF EARLY IN THE MORNING ...from IPOH TO KOTA, border of Negeri Sembilan and Malacca, it took us nearly four hours to reach Lynn's maternal house.... It was lunch time when we finally reached her front door...her mum was so happy to see us IPOHians and we were treated to a Kota home cooked lunch immediately upon reaching....

Lynn's house in Kota....

lunch was served before us....

this is one of my favourite...stewed yam pork...

and a bowl of soup with fresh fish balls...
thank you, auntie for serving us home cooked food....

After lunch we adjourned to Malacca where we stayed in a budget hotel...
OH, by the way, the purpose of this journey was to attend Lynn's wedding lunch on Sunday....

..to be continued..

  1. Hi Reanaclaire, Holy Smoke! The dishes all look so delicious!
I enlarged the pics and drlled over the friend fish, my favorite, and the vegetables. That soup looks real good and tasty too.
This the type of friends I love to know, ha ha.
Kota? It was a small village back in the 60's if I remember.
The last time I passed thru was I think in the late 70's.
Malacca is a beautiful, rustic old town.
I still have some relatives there.
You have fun and keep well, Lee.
