I bought a cucumber and some tomatoes, wondering what to do with them... and eventually ended up cooking the following....
my ingredients... minced meat, 2 tomatoes,
one cucumber, 2 green chillies, one red chilly, dried prawns
cooling cucumber with dried prawns and one red chilly
my girl and I finished these up for dinner!!
both of us were wishing some
egg tarts as desserts after dinner...
yummy!!

You are improving ! Nice dishes...I love the cucumber stir fry with shrimps and lots of garlic! and dessert egg tarts! simple homecooked food are much better.
I'm more interested in the egg tart though, ha ha...
I don't like cucumber cooked. Loses its "cool" taste. Would rather eat it raw...maybe with mayo or salad dressing...or ulam with sambal hay bee.
That's Choy Kee's egg tart! I can recognise their tarts with just one look. The crust always looks paler compared to others. In fact, Choy Kee's egg tarts are available in many places because they supply pastries to quite a number of major coffee shops.

I also prefer them raw but it's nice to hv a change.
i prefer to eat raw cucumber but sometimes mom will cook something like the way u cooked it. nice too! ;)
