Rest In Peace, LetsWallop!

Today is 2nd January 2011. Did the New Year start with a good WOW for anyone of you?

In terms of blogging, I had a big blow. If you have been following my blogs, you all would know that there are three of them. One is ABC blog, my food blog Lets Wallop and this Caring blog. And now I have two left... because one has been "confirmed" as SPAM by Mr. G. It is now deleted from my list of blogs and I could no longer sign in to my food blog anymore.

Well, actually I do not blame Mr. G for taking it away, they are just doing their job. It was my fault because I put that blog at risk by posting up articles I am being paid to publish. I have posted up hundreds of articles because of money.... and now I have to pay for the loss.

Because of this, I wish to share with all of you here. Unless you do not love your blog, you can do anything you want... but don't regret when it is really taken off the shelf one day...

Sayonara to Let's Wallop... I will try to "revive" you one day.......

  1. Who is Mr. G? I guess a boss at blogger. One of my blog friends got warned that she had copied something from the web and after two more warnings would be taken off. They say there are rules that you agree to follow when you join blogger, but who remembers them?? So sorry.

  2. Oh? I thought blogspot allows paid posts...only wordpress wouldn't let you do that. Yours isn't with blogger.com? Ah well...I don't know all these things as I don't get any money from my blog so I never bother to find out more...

  3. Sigh... sometimes, we do such things out of love... I would not do paid post if I don't need some extra cash myself, to be honest. But money has always been an issue... so well... you know... LOL!

  6. Omigod Claire. Sorry to hear this. How could Mr. G said it's Spam and deny you access to the blog? It was under your own domain or blogspot? What happened to all your posts in there? Could you write to them? I really don't understand how they can stop you from accessing it. I see many blogs with tons of paid posts and yet, they are still 'alive'.

  7. My "Mi chiamo Italian" was taken away too. I blamed nobody except for myself because of some ethical matter.

  13. I will stick to STP's advice, i blog because i enjoy blogging, if money does come by because someone out there loves my blog, then i will do it,if not i just continue to blog,,,,, what STP said was quite true, if money becomes the sore motivation then the readers of our blog will know, and then will not like it too,,hahahha.

so let just blog because we love blogging ya....

  14. it's so sad to hear your story claire. thanks for sharing your experience. this reminds me to back-up my blog and maybe, if I have enough funds, shift to a paid host.
