A Night Stay At Royale Bintang Hotel, Penang

Spent a one night stay in The Royale Bintang Hotel, Penang last weekend.  My friend told me that there is a promotion going on till end of this month only.  Also heard that this is a newly opened hotel right in the heart of historic George Town, I never been there so I am all game for it...

Since the promotion rate is within our budget, we made a trip up north on Saturday for a night stay and I was surprised to see that it is an existing colonial architecture, reminded me of our Ipoh Hongkong and Shanghai Bank Building in old town.  The Hotel is located at the Weld Quay area, just minutes by foot from the city's most famous bankings and shopping area, that includes major historic sites along the Heritage Trial of Penang.
Entrance is from behind the building....

At the lobby...
I think my hands were shaking then....
Didn't do much credit to the hotel... too bad...
 To the lifts....
Lobby Lounge....
Relaxing if we got the time to laze around here in the evening....
That's me, alright!
Further in, it was like another world on its own here...
Something different....
 Like Spanish  concept...
Siesta time!
Another lounge for meals....
Odd time when I went so there was no one around.....
All looks new and nice here....
The Deluxe Room...
Can easily fit US small size people..
Everything looks new....
That's a mirror here separating the bedroom and the bathroom....
From the balcony of my window.....
Sun-Bathing and Sun Swimming in the afternoon?
No, that is not me.... I am no swimmer....
But it is surely relaxing to come down when the sun has set....
As for me, when the sun sets, it is time for Food again!!
Oh, by the way, the rate of the room is RM175 without breakfast...
