Ferrying Across To Butterworth, Penang

It has been years since we have been ferried across from the island to the mainland...  Normally we will use the bridge but this time we went by ferry because the place we wanted to go is near to the jetty at the mainland.

Going from the island to the mainland is free but coming back to the island, we have to pay a RM7 toll charge but my son got this Touch n Go card where the toll fare is bit cheaper, one way is RM5.40.

Coming back to my ferry post, time passed very fast cos we kept on taking picture after picture... not so much on the scenery but on "ourselves..... "  In no time, we reached the jetty at the mainland...
Behind us is the Libra... I think....
Same face moe?
Ever since he started working, he has gone down a lot!
Blue skies looming above..
Yes..... my two bodyguards...
Different length, I know...
hahahaha...
Spot the difference...
Real sunny day...
And I forgot to apply sunblock lotion...
ouch... ouchhhh!!

Anyway... after the photo sessions....
The mainland was in sight...
Time to heal our "hunger" in Butterworth!

  1. RM5.60, not 5.40 LOL! 20% discount off RM7, that's what that Touch n Go does. But they said they going to end that discount in 2016 or 2018, not sure is real or just rumors :(

  9. oh, coming out of the island is free.. no wonder, muahahahaha!! we were puzzled why there was no counter o gate or toll or what-so-ever when we drove in or out of the ferry when we left..

and TnG has got 20% discount using the ferry?? how nice.. you know in KL if you use TnG there is no discount and worse still you gotta pay 10% extra if you use it for parking, how ridiculous right?? it's supposed to be cheaper since there is no paper tickets and paying facilities needed for TnG wat~~
