OAKS Horizon Apartment Hotel, Adelaide, Australia

THE FLIGHT FROM KL TO ADELAIDE TOOK MORE THAN SEVEN HOURS and we reached Adelaide around 8am *time difference is 1 1/2 hours later in Adelaide*...  and reached our Oaks Horizon Hotel/Apartment before our appointed check-in time.  Since our apartment was not ready yet, we "parked" our luggage there and went for our breakfast in Rundermall area....  and so what did we end up eating???
Yes, Dim Sum!!
Right in the center of Adelaide shopping area!
Suits me REALLLL FINE!!
Hongkong Dim Sum... not Malaysian.... so they are a bit different....
Ordered a bit of this and that.....
I left out the Giant Beef Balls!
Curry noodles opened by a Malaysian ex-lecturer, so I heard....
Not bad, I like it cos it is not spicy.....and lots of fillings...chunks of chicken...
I think it cost around $8Aud...
Self-service...
Walked and rested a bit after our meal.....
  Famous landmark at Runder Mall...
Soon... it was time to check in... at last.....
Our rented apartment view from the main door....
From the balcony door...
Master bedroom....
Attached bathroom...
This is for me and my girl....
With attached bathroom too....
 View from the highest floor...
From the 17th Floor view, Adelaide Conventre Center is just opposite...
Only setback about the apartment is this....
NO WIFI!
The only thing to "capture" the internet is to sit near the balcony each day....
Thanks to ACC, we managed to stay connected!!

  5. Aiyor!!!! Go all the way there to eat stuff we can get back home! Ah well!! As long as they're good - usually at these ang moh countries, they have these to "phian ang moh", bluff one only, nothing like the real thing and expensive (ah well...nothing is cheap there - best to buy raw food, cook in apartment, cheaper) and HUGE servings...but what you had looked ok, not that big at all.
