Wheeling To Menglembu For Ipoh Delights And Desserts

THE DAY I HAD BEEN WAITING FOR HAS ARRIVED... 4th December when my appointment with the bone specialist in hospital, I was looking forward to this day, feeling very optimistic about the X-ray and the doctor commenting...."Hey, the bone is healed... you can walk again..."  But no, he didn't say that after looking at the X-ray, instead he said there is still an oblique lateral malleolus, whatever that means... and my leg still has to be on bandage for another month... sigh...

On the positive side, he said by next month, I will have to walk otherwise I might not know how to... hahahaa... that I added in myself, the doc didn't say that.... Anyway, my heavy green cast was removed, that is a great relief, my leg feels so much lighter after it was "sawed" open and taken away for good!

After my appointment with the doc, it was almost lunch time.... I cried for FOOD!  I wanted to go somewhere further from my place... and I quickly called my friend in Menglembu for lunch in one of the shops there.... and in no time, thanks to Nancy to show the direction, we were together again, enjoying the simple delights of Ipoh....
My friend recommended this shop in this Menglembu Bandar Baru....
Crowded but no worries, my friend will "kau thim" the orders...
No fuss, anything would do.....
Resting my precious......
Red beans dessert was served....
Very nice cos they put in "mata kucing" too... *loong ngan aka dried longan*
It has been a Long time I didn't get to enjoy this!
Fried vegetarian noodles....
Chee Cheong Fun which I like too!!
These are accompaniments... !
Let's enjoy for now....
Have wheels will travel and eat!!

  6. Reckon that you must be disappointed when the doctor said must keep the bandage on for another month but you must be looking forward to the new year when definitely you must walk. So onwards to 2016!
