Makeover For Good Looks And Confidence

Tell me... who does not want to look good?   I bet most of us do love to look good, not just in our attire but physically as well.  Short on time, tools, resources or funds? There are loads of ways to pull together a fresh-faced beauty look with whatever you have to hand. Just because you’re a mum doesn’t mean you can’t wear makeup if you fancy!  Not only mums, people of all categories would love to pamper themselves once awhile if not always and often.  While ladies spend much of their savings on make-up and treatment, men will do likewise to build up and flex their muscles.

Let's talk about ladies of all categories.  Whether you are walking the red carpet in a sequined gown or dashing tux heading to the mall for some weekend shopping, or making the trek to the local grocery store in sweats and a baseball cap, everyone wants to look presentable and beautiful.  Walking with a confidence poise, as the saying goes.  From little girls having fun with their mom's high heels and old ladies putting on their Sunday finest to middle-aged men looking to hide their grey hair in their beards, tell me, who wouldn't want to look their best.

For Moms

Long day at work and up all night with the little ones?  This sounds like a mother to her love ones. Help yourself to slapping some concealer to help have a clearer face and a more wide-awake look. How about needing to glam up a bit but only knowing some basics?  No worries, just apply some vaseline on yoru lips and smooth a little over brows to tame them.  Pinch your cheeks like the Hollywood starlets used to do.  This might give a little highlighter effect on the cheekbones.  For a full face of makeup and at the same time, you wanna get some sleep?  Just give a dab of baby oil on a cotton pad will do until the next morning. Well, as I told you, these are just the basics.

For Celebrity

Talking about celebrity, the first thing that come to our mind is... plastic surgery?  Hey, don't deny it, I know you are hinking of that, for all it is written, plastic surgery is possibly Hollywood's worst kept secret.  Though most stars keep mum over their physical looks, it does not stop us readers from speculating.  We do not want to criticize, in fact, we have them to thank for.  They are our entertainers in terms of acting, singing and in any kind of performance, we feel enlightened by them.  Hence, we do not have the right to be critics, instead we should admire what they have done.  In fact, some stars are completely open about their plastic surgery, the pain and the trauma they have to undergo, not everyone can do that, going under the knife.  Celebrities might be obsessed with their looks but they are also humans too.  No doubt everyone wants to look perfect, on their face, ageless skin, smooth jaw line, round bums and full size boobs.  Considering all these done, one has to admire their courage and guts to spend and endure the whole operation and treatment to get a perfect image.   Of course there are some cases where the outcome in what was desired by those who opted for surgery do not come out satisfactory.

Between common people and celebrities, it cannot be denied that we love to look our best, whether we are teenagers, young adults, mothers, elderly or celebrities.  A special outfit, a new hairstyle or an extra dab of cologne, these will boost up our confidence.

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...
Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch here in …

Caring And Sharing At Limestone, Regal Lodge, Ipoh

IMPROMPTU GATHERING.... Nothing was planned beforehand, it was only at the last minute that we received call to have lunch at Limestone Cafe, inside Regal Lodge.  It was my first time there to have set lunch.  The menu prices were reasonable, around RM15.90 for the main dish, RM3 for a bowl of soup and RM2 for ice cream.  Other than that, coffee, tea and soft drinks are free.
We were there not so much for the food but for the ambiance... we practically had the whole cafe to ourselves during that lunch hour.  Only one or two tables were occupied and we spent more than two hours there since it was a Friday long hour lunch for my working colleagues.  After a few months absence from me, it was wonderful to catch up with my ex-colleagues again!
I was super hungry by lunch time and I felt like eating almost anything in the menu. We ended up ordering one main dish each and then sharing them with one another so that we could taste a bit of this and that.....
I felt like eating Aglio Oli…

Famous Wanton Mee At New Hoong Kee, Bandar Sri Damansara

BREAKFAST FEAST..  Best meal of the day is always my first meal because I know I am able to tuck in as much as my stomach can accept.  I eat a lot in the mornings and then slowly dwindle by the end of the day.  As the saying goes, eat like a king in the morning and like a pauper in the evenings.  This is what I normally do nowadays, not because I wanted to, but it is my own body system that tune me this way.  Though I deny I am old but the body says otherwise... LOL...

On this morning, we went to New Hoong Kee in Bandar Sri Damansara, my sibling said this is currently his favourite place.  And after trying, I know why.... the food we ordered, all turned out good and tasty, even the curry reminded me of my good old days!
Managed to catch the name otherwise I wouldn't be able to tell this story now...  My type of curry... I can go without the chicken... Just the other ingredients will do fine for me.. I like the way they cook this curry... Heard the BBQ pork is tasty too... melt in …
