Eating In Menglembu And Shopping At AEON Big, Farlim

A DAY OF HAVING BRUNCH AND SHOPPING WITH MY OLD TIME BUDDY... yes, we were buddies from our schooling days... we have gone through shining and raining days together, together we friend, united we stand... hahahaa...

One fine morning we had brunch in Ma Chai Menglembu, I have not tasted their Chee Cheong Fun for quite some time.  One has to be very adventurous when it come to ordering CCF... there is a wide selection displayed for us to choose from as toppings.
Of the many dishes, I opted for sotong as my CCF toppings besides the normal sauce...
Unhealthy it may seems to be... but once a blue moon, should be alright, right?\
My plate of CCF cost RM4.80
My friend is even more adventurous, she opted for stinky beans and egg plants on her CCF..
Not sure how much her plate cost... cos she added three fried chicken as well... to take home la!

After our tummies were filled, we had another place to go...
Yes, AEON BIG in Farlim....
Just had to lose some calories after the heavy meal of CCF...

Upon entering, these CROCS caught our eyes...
We have been surveying a number of CROCS shops for some nice sandals...
But CROCS being CROCS, their fashion and colours are quite "outstanding"
Firstly we asked about the promotion and pricings...
In this shop, we can get two pairs for RM199!
Wow... the best we had surveyed so far....
Normally others would offer one pair original price and 50% on the second pair...
Since it now cost RM199 for two pairs, we quickly choose our own pair....
I have not worn CROCS before.... and this is my first pair of CROCS...
Oh.. I did not choose this actually... my friend did... she wanted this style..
I opted for another one which I did not take a picture...
So far, I did not wear it yet.. too flat for me...
I am used to having at least one inch higher..
hehehee...
My Buddy and I...
Eating and Shopping Best!!

  6. Claire! You look like you have lost weight!! Love the Crocs! We do not have as many styles and colors here. ALL I wear is Crocs. I have them in several solid colors. My feet swell up, and they are the only thing that fits. SO comfy! Wish I had ones like these. NOW, I want to see the pair you bought!

An Evening Dinner At Chef Chew Kitchen, Petaling Jaya

BACK TO SG. BULOH for a couple of days.... Come evening, we went for dinner at Chef Chew Kitchen in Seksyen 19, Petaling Jaya.  Since it was my first time there, I did not know what to expect except to sit back, relax and eat.  LOL... It is a one shop lot restaurant so tables are very limited.  Reservation was made at 6pm to be on the safe side, to avoid crowds and waiting for food was very minimized at this time of the day.  For the seven of us, these dishes were served on the table... Thumbs up even before the dinner...  And soon these are served...  Claypot braised ribs...  Their signature dish... Fish Maw...  First time eating fish maw which is whitish in colour...  Black Beancurd with Pumpkin sauce... Hey, this restaurant indeed serves new to me! This must be Sweet Sauce Chicken... For the American... Cos we Asians like Steamed Chicken like this!  LOL...  And the star dish of the dinner is this...  Freshly steamed and succulent prawns

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...  Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch

Night Market Along Lee Garden Plaza Hotel, Hatyai

BY THE TIME WE REACHED THE HOTEL, it was almost dark. This time round, we took a longer rest in the hotel... my girl might not need it but I certainly did!  After recharging around 80% of my body strength, we were ready to explore the streets again. Our hotel is really a strategic spot for us tourists.  The street vendors were all ready to boost their sales in front, at the side and along the whole stretch of street where we stayed.  Left, right, front... the place was filled with people and tourists like us... I could hear some of them speaking my dialect, we felt kind of at home instead of being tourists.... Besides the street vendors in front of the hotel, there was a night market just five minutes walking distance away from our hotel, Lee Garden Plaza.... Maybe they only opened during the weekends?  I am not sure about that.. .anyway, we were kind of excited to see all the bright lights along the street.... Come... Let's Go! We started from the beginning of the str
