A Visit To The Gordon Highlanders Museum, Aberdeen

One of His highlights *not mine* is the Gordon Highlanders Museum here in Aberdeen.  My BIL is all for history, especially those war memorials.... visiting museums is the main itinerary for his trip to UK.  Before he came, he already did a lot of research on where to go and places to visit.

And so here we are on one fine weekend...

The Gordon Highlanders Museum... it is based in Aberdeen and it celebrates the story of the Gordon Highlanders which were active from 1794 to 1994 and it is a 5 star Scottish Tourist Board attraction, according to Wikipedia.
Walking up the entrance to the museum....
At the entrance, the two guys bought their tickets to go in....
While the two ladies made their way to the cosy cafe.....
We ordered a light breakfast.....
Lentils soup and tuna sandwich...  around 6 pounds...
I was not a Big Fan of soup before...
But now, I definitely AM!
As long as it is not milky creamy based, I am fine with any type of soup...
While waiting for the guys, we walked around the gift shop....
One hour later, they exit from their tour....
My BIL gave full praises for the guided tour...
Definitely worth the visit, he said...
hmmm....
And before we left, a Salute to the heroes....
