Healthy Punjab Food In Lahat Road, Ipoh

Once awhile, I like to go for Indian cuisine, not the heavy type of meal but the kind of healthy typewhere there is less oil or preferably oil-less....

It was on a one fine  and hot day when my colleague suggested going for a capati in old town.... I readily agreed, once awhile it is nice for a change to try different culture food and I was expecting the same shop that we normally go to.... But no, this time he took me to this Punjab shop here along Lahat Road here in Ipoh.
 Restoran Moga Punjab....
Just look at the vegetables... I was already salivating then...
I love all types of greens especially they are cooked fresh and different from what I normally do...
Cauliflower cooked with chilli powder?
When I saw ladies fingers or okra, I told myself that I must order this!
My colleague told me that they do the capati there and then too...
Fresh from the pan....!
Knead, knead... then....
Rolling pin in action.....
And there... my two capati-s!
Ordered a small plate of okra....crunchy and fresh....
And spicy brinjals aka eggplants cooked differently....
I would love it better if they put some tomatoes to make it sweet and sour.. right?
But then this is a Punjab meal... not Reanaclaire's....
Ta.....daaaaa...
Fresh Capati from the pan.....
Healthy Oil-less Capati!

  2. All the food looks very spicy. Seldom take Indian food except the roti canai. Punjabi capati looks cripsy.
