Our First Dinner At San Low, Johor

ARRIVED SAFELY IN JOHOR... It was nearly 6pm when we reached the doorstep.  Good to be back in our little nest again even only for a few days.  My son did some slight renovation, giving it a new facelift in some areas.

Leaving our bags in our rooms, my son took us for dinner. Took us to a place I have never been before and we ordered a few dishes.  Actually the three of us were still full from our Malacca lunch and I ate just a bit of that... just for taste.  Maybe I was also tired after the long hours of driving, though I did not really drive.  Sometimes just sitting as a passenger can be exhausting too, right?  LOL...

This is the place San Low...
Smack meehoon.... as commonly known in Johor...
My blurry Wat Tan Hor...
Forgot the name of this dish....
Otak-Otak...
Oh yeah... a dish of fried mini squids...
Lastly, the desserts... Or Nee...
Yam paste with pumpkin and gingko..
Taste good but a bit too oily for me...
Normally in other places, the oil is not so obviously seen...
Bill for the whole meal came to around RM97.50...

  1. Sitting as a passenger is also very tiring because have to keep the driver awake no matter how tired or sleepy throughout the journey.

  2. How many people eating all these dishes? A lot of dishes! Smack meehoon is called that way in cantonese, right?
