Wheeling Miles Across The Main River, Frankfurt

SECOND DAY OUTING IN FRANKFURT... Just  Four stops away from the place we took the tram, this time we did a lot of walking and Aaron must have lost a lot of calories pushing me from one bridge to another.  There are certain parts that I need to do some hopping and not shopping.... But all in all, we did manage to cover the other side of Romer where the Main River is....

Weather was around ten to fifteen degrees, I wore three layers as usual and with a shawl to cover my legs... Only The one who control the wheelchair will sweat... Sorry about that, I guess I am getting heavier and lazier...nevertheless, we made it through the three days in Frankfurt with sweet memories to carry back with us....
Cruising along the river cost around  €8 but we didn't take it cos I need to hop some steps down...
Furthermore I think I will fall asleep, I normally do when I feel the breeze on my face....
Instead we cruised with our own legs and wheels...
At the Love Bridge....
But I did not lock any love there.... Only peace....
Wheeling across our first bridge....
Panoramic view....
Across the bridge....

The pathway to the ferry....
Another view from another bridge....

Standing tall holding on to his shoulder....
Oh... On the love bridge....
Taken from the streets... The Fall...
To the other side .....
Another part of the town.... Financial district...

Lutheran Epiphany Church....
And from there, we rolled into the market, bought some funny food anf had our late lunch at a Thai restaurant... It was almost 3pm and I ate a giant plate of fried rice!
My tired and hungry look!!

Window Shopping And Tea At Kamps

WE DISCOVERED THE SHOPPING STREET AS WE WALKED FURTHER UP... Even though it was a weekday, the area was quite crowded.... We followed the crowd, walking and pushing myself up and down, in and out of the malls.. Primart must be one of the most popular shop around there, noticed that most shoppers have one of the Primart in their hands ... Indeed the prices are quite reasonable...
Claire's accessories seems to be everywhere....
In front of Fossil and I didn't even buy anything!
I have been a good girl... My hands proved it...
At places where I wanna rest, I stand up.... Yes, standing is resting....
And I normally do when my butt gets too tired of sitting on the wheelchair...
Even sitting on the bench gives me some comfort and consolation from the wheels...
But it is good to walk again and I hope it will be soon... My butt is really flatten by now....
No joke having to sit all the time on the same chair day in and out...
But I notice my friend is more tired than me....why is it so?
No joke being a pusher too, I guess... So sorry for her....
Come, lets have some nice hot latte here at the Kamps!
So much to choose from.....
But we ended up with these only.. Latte and some light snacks..
Apple Strudel...
Croissant and pretzel...
First ... Do some dipping..... Hmmmm....
And that was it..... Just eat what I have in my hand...
I am not a Latte lover anyway.....

Ratskeller, Teddy Bear Bubbles And Desserts at Romer, Frankfurt

WITH THE MEATY LUNCH IN OUR TUMMIES, we were all ready to continue our walk in Romer.... East and west, there are sightseeing to do... Since we are staying three nights in Frankfurt, we take it slow and steady....

The place where the tram stopped for us to get down...
In front of the Ratskeller building meaning bar or restaurants in German-speaking countries...
Positioned in front of some bars and restaurants where we had our lunch....
Nice weather to take pictures so expect more of me!! Hahhaaaa....
Most of the souvenir shops have teddies outside their shop...
The teddy blows bubbles....
See... Seeeee.... Bubbles!!
We felt like kids again... Hahahaa....
I think I know why this picture has this happy expression......
I saw ice cream!  Despite the cooling weather, I cannot resist at all.....
Aaron with his giant cone!
Lots to explore up here.... And it wouldn't be possible without her......
..... And Aaron........
Yes, we feel good to be here!!

Wheeling On Tram To Romer, Frankfurt

YAY!! WOKE UP FEELING ALL EXCITED AND ENERGIZED TO START OFF OUR SIGHTSEEEING!  Aaron as usual does his "homework" each night, where to go, what tram to take so on and so forth... He is our tour guide abd my personal wheel-pusher... 😃
At the tram station just few minutes away from our hotel.... Tram comes every few minutes..
We bought a group ticket, just €10 and we can go anywhere in a day....
Inside the tram... Disable friendly and most of the stops enables wheelchair bounds exits...
Aaron holds the map with him all the time to check the exits....
We went out of town and back again by tram... Made our money worth.. Hahaaaa....
Then we got down at Romer, a tourist spot....
Wedding bells was ... It was a joyous occasion....
And we saw them releasing the balloons....
And one flew in my direction to my surprise... One lady picked it up for me and insisted that I take it...
Tied it to my wheelchair as a rememberence....

A happening place here..... Saw groups of asian tourists too...
Live Music looming around the restaurants...
Checking out the places to take our lunch... We were very hungry by then...
And soon... The dishes were served....

Some German sausages with sour cabbage....
And their famous Pork Knuckle!!
Our second German meal..... Yummss!!
Love the sour cabbage...
Something like our malaysian salted vegetables!
Two plates for the three of us.... Yummylicious!!
Food cost around €25 plus...
Not too bad, right!!
