After our light lunch, I took a drive with my friend, turning right at a traffic light to Ampang new village, this time exploring it on my own. I was shown once by my foodie friends recently and I am glad that I could find my way to where the pomelo plantations are. Actually it was quite easy... there are two ways to go in, one from Ampang N/V and another way from Tambun, the road just next to the police station.
For the first time in history, I made a stop at this Go Chin Pomelo Nature Park where the pomeloes are planted.
Giant Pomeloes on the wall.....
See what I mean?
Beside the signboard, the shop displaying the fruits.....
But unfortunately this is not the pomelo season yet....
Thus the fruits are a bit expensive now....
We asked for permission to go into the nature park...
The staff gladly approved and showed us the way in...
For plant lovers, this is the place to linger awhile longer.....
As for me, I just took a few pictures on the left....
And on my right.... fruits were still bearing...
This is a pomelo tree...
Indeed it is not the season as yet....
There are some in the process of ripening, I guess....
Hang-me-down.....
One to show that I touched the pomeloes for the first time...
Before we left, we bought something...
Not pomeloes but Peanuts!!
No kidding....
GOCHIN In Tambun, we will see you again next time!!
