On The Grounds Of The Skiing Resort, Park City

STILL WALKING AROUND...  Yes, I am being long winded here... LOL...

There are more pictures which I would like to publish in my blog before I delete them in my folder, that is the reason why I am still harping on my walk around the area....

It is supposed to be a skiing resort but it is summer now.  No snow, only the sunny sun... and why was I still wearing the jacket?  Firstly, it is for "show"... LOL... my sister "beat" me to it, she saw it, she bought it.... and I took advantage of it by wearing it for two days in a row!  :)  Secondly, it was still cooling when we arrived.... I did not want to get the chill, the weather was not consistent, it could turn very cooling unexpectedly.  *I still love the orange jacket, hope she gives it to me if she happens to read this post!*

Back to my walking.....
This is the bus stop... huh.. so quiet, right?
Well, no one likes going outlet stores around here except we Asians...
So where is everyone???

They are here!!  Kids' corner....
Families' summer holiday...
All the shouting and yelling... the kids were really having fun!
Another area for the kids...
The Bigger Kids must be around here...
Inside the bars.... having cool beer....
Some likes the sun....
We ran for the shade....
I can imagine how it looks during winter...
Everything white!
On the second floor where activities took place...
I did a most daring thing here during one evening...
I PERFORMED... I SANG!!
Now coming to think of it.... that evening was the most memorable...
I must try to upload the video later... LOL...
After the long walk, we rested here at the entrance and waited for our Driver...
Our footprints here and there....

First Morning And Breakfast At Silver Star Resort, Utah

FIRST MORNING...

Woke up to a sunny morning, getting all excited to explore the place as we couldn't see much in the dark the previous night before.  We set out from the hotel and walked around the vicinity, have to familiarize with the place so that we ladies could do our own exploration.  First question we asked at the lobby.... "Any outlets around here?"  And we were so happy when we were told that there are free buses to take us around not only around our area but outskirts as well.  Outlet stores are included in the free transportation, we just have to walk three minutes from our hotel!!  That was our good news for the day!  That.... we have to wait for the second day to go by ourselves.... LOL...
At the lobby... *did I post this earlier*
Waiting to go....
At the entrance... all set!
Walking to our car parking area...
That is the hotel behind me...
Wanted to take breakfast here... but a bit pricey...

Very quiet too cos it was a weekday... or maybe still in bed....
Then we thought of going to another resort for our breakfast...
So so quiet....
/
Ended up at Silver Star Resort...
At their breakfast cafe....
 Joining in the crowd....

We shared our light breakfast...

And after breakfast, we walked around...
Overlooking the golf course....
 Spectacular sight from above..
Grisly...
And let's go up the mountain to ski....
LOL...

Our Room At Marriott's Mountainside Resort, Park City

AT LAST.....

Finally we reached our destination after more than 12 hours of drive from Sacramento to Marriott's Mountainside at Park City, Utah, so thankful... While they did all the checking in at the lobby, I quickly dashed to the restroom which was located on the second floor... phewwww!!  That was pretty close.. LOL...

At the lobby where we did the checking in...
It was done pretty quick and easy...
Seems quiet, right?  I guess we were the last guests....
Upon entering... this would be our "nest" for the next seven nights...
A small kitchen for our meals...
Sofa cum bed for two....
Me and my friend will be the "security" outside...
We had the TV to accompany us through the night....
The Master Bedroom for my boss and wife...
With two separate bathrooms...
One long bath and one shower....
Ok, let's unload our stuff....
Get a good rest....
Lots to explore for the next few days!

Our One Week Vacation At Salt Lake City, Utah

LONG ABSENCE!

Time really flies.. and my blog got neglected for the past 2 weeks?  Or was it 10 days?  I really wanted to do current posts but it was not possible without a laptop.  Cannot do much with an iPhone or iPad.. okay, these are excuses.  LOL... Real reason is that I am really Lazy!  I did not use much of my brain cells in writing lately, I guess over 10 years of blogging has make me feel so old!!  LOL...

But seriously, I still want to keep my blog alive.... and I want to thank my readers once again for coming by faithfully for these past years!  I will also continue to visit your blogs whenever possible for me to.  My frequent traveling lately has occupied much of my time....

My latest travels was a one week stay at the Salt City, Utah, up the skiing mountains.  The journey took more than 12 hours!  Drive... I must add... and salute the one man driver!  While we passengers slept after eating, the poor driver had to drive us through the mountains, the valleys and so forth....
Stopping at our first diner... for breakfast...
a very enormous one too!
Fried chicken steak...
While we ladies shared the soup and sandwiches....
And....
Spaghetti!

The salty town....
Stretching our legs....
And by the time we reached the skiing resort, it was totally dark....

Travel Tips - Planning the Perfect Singapore Trip

If you are planning to visit Southeast Asia, Singapore is a perfect island to visit. It is not like many others because you get to enjoy tranquil beaches, well-preserved jungles, and a metropolis city with incredible attractions and features. The history of this city-state is not only interesting, but very amusing.
Visiting Singapore requires a good plan so that you can enjoy the best destinations and also save a lot of money, which is possible anyway. The tips shared below are just what you need for a perfect and memorable trip.

Learn Common Facts About Singapore
One important fact about Singapore is that the country has numerous attractions and features that are both natural and man-made. However, learning something about the weather, which is hot and humid, will help you know the best gear to carry. Singapore has a well-networked public transport that is easy to use. Again, you may need to acquaint yourself with the contemporary legal system of the Island State. With as many facts and data as possible, you will have a good time adventuring in Singapore.

Choose the Best Time to Visit
Although Singapore is promising throughout the year, you may be interested in catching a specific time. Thus, you need to plan the timing well. According to travel experts, mid-year is usually the best because the services are cheap and there are excellent activities like the Food Festival. Festive seasons are usually crowded and services are a little more expensive, but again, this time of year has a lot of fun, especially for kids.

Choose Your Travel Agent
Without the best travel agent, your travel to Singapore could have many hitches. First of all, agents like One Visa will facilitate your travel documents with ease. Agents also help in booking the plane tickets as well as other services like accommodations. Thus, choose a reputable company to guide you on the best thing to do from the beginning to end.

Make a Budget
Yes, planning your finances before you depart is a wise decision. As a matter of fact, it is a mandatory step that should not be missed by anyone. The most important part of the budget should cover the bigger expenditures like accommodations, food, and travel. Travel experts also advise allocating enough finances for the activities that you and your family want to enjoy the trip.

Do Bookings Early
As a part of planning, all major bookings should be done early enough. This includes accommodations, which can be frustrating if made at the last minute. Your travel agent knows all of the places where you can save money and still get valuable services. With the power of the internet, you too can compare various options and make important bookings.

Pack Your Gear
Packing is essential when traveling to Singapore. To make it easier, the use of a checklist is very effective. People tend to forget important details, especially in the last days. But when packing is done a week before and with a checklist, the chances of forgetting things are minimized.
From all of the insights above, it is clear that planning a trip to Singapore is not as difficult as you may think. The fruits of such plans are that you and your family or friends will have a memorable time in Singapore.
