I started a joke.......(stale joke)

Election is around the corner, its on the 8th next month.. the youngest candidate, as far I know, is only 26 yrs of age and the oldest is 89...no joke...89!!!.... She is a gutsy old lady from the East Malaysia, if I m not mistaken, ... and who knows, she might win some votes or 2 from the senior citizens of her age... I wonder what motivates her to stand as a candidate..I really wonder...

Let me tell an old joke, I m sure some have heard about it before..... It was during one election time .....

There was this elderly old chinese lady who was lining up for her turn to vote at one of the polling classrooms, she was really in deep deep thoughts, scratching her head, thinking of which party to put vote for .. Upon reaching her turn, she couldnt stand it any longer and turned to the man behind her.....and said, "Sin Sang, (Mister), who shall I vote for?" Before the man could answer, the policeman guarding at the door, put up his fingers and said , "Shhhhh..sssshhhh...." Immediately the old lady brightened up and chuckled to herself, mumbling...."Ah... I know, I know...shhhh...means rocket flying off....hou ah hou ah (good good)..now I know who to vote for...hehe hehe...."

(For those who doesnt understand, the rocket represents one of the opposition parties in Malaysia)

  5. Yes, we all have our rights to vote and we know we can make a difference only when the winner shows his/her real skin during the following 5 years.....
If the ex-ruling guys are not politically ripe, they will sit on the floor kicking sand and mud when they do not win that lucrative term to make more money....even though they have not done any good for the people, they don't care. They are only thinking it's their right to be voted....

Our Orders From Afghanistan, Spanish And Australia

My Final post on the Food Festival in the Victoria Market on Wednesday night.... The atmosphere at the market was "enhanced" by the cheerful songs and music by a group band... It was indeed a merry evening filled with music-licous folk songs in the air... . Ok, how to find four seats in this crowd.... hmmmm....... Somehow we managed to... and these were what my boys brought back to our table.... Mexican rice with oysters... or is it Spanish rice?   Both are the same, I guess... LOL.... Afghanistan Food.... chunks of chicken meat with naan.... Brazilian food.... don't ask me what it is.... I just ate what was on the table....  But I am amazed by this giant burger....  ..... and what burger is this? They told me it is Crocodile Tail Burger! Meat from the crocodile tail?  Is it just a name or what... I really don't know... Took a few bites of it... and I am full!! Well, these were the food we

My Failed Project In Baking Mini Egg Cakes

FAILED THIS TIME..... I don't know why, I follow exactly the ingredients and the method written in her website but it was not successful.  Something went wrong somewhere but I don't think I want to try it again.  This recipe is called Mini Egg Cake which is supposed to be soft, airy, light sponge cake but the way I made them, they turned out hard and crusty cake.   If I try again one day, I will half the portion... cos I like to eat these traditional egg cakes.... The Ingredients...  No point putting the recipe here since I failed..  LOL...  The portions of this recipe....  It looked very promising when I put them into the oven.... Even when they were in the baking process... they look good, aren't they? LOL...  I was so happy just by looking at the mini egg cakes in the tray....  And after they were let out... my heart sank....  The minute I took them out from the tray, I knew... Hard at the top...  Tak Jadi = Failed.... Now come to t

Home Cooked Dishes

NOT MUCH HAPPENING... and lazy too.... My neighbour gave me half pumpkin and I have been keeping it for a couple of days before I finally decide what to do with it.  I cook it into small chunks and sauteed it with minced meat, okra and basil leaves.  Yes, it would be great to put in some small cilipadi but unfortunately, I did not find any in my fridge.  Steamed a bowl of rice and that was meal for dinner.... One dish meal....  Pumpkin reminds me of sweet potatoes...sweet after cooking... Another dinner meal consist of Sambal Fish, black pepper met and a hard boiled egg  I only boiled the egg, the other two dishes were "sponsored" by my neighbour... LOL...
