Police Summoned Me!

Last week I received a letter from the post office asking me to claim something from them. Wah... at first I thought it was a gift for me cos I remember faxing a form to a bank to claim something with my credit card points.

So... yesterday, I went to the post office around my area to claim the gift... sigh... and I was most surprised to see that it was a POLICE SUMMON la!!!

chey... if i known earlier, i wouldn't go and claim it... :)

(u might see me being "handcuffed" one day in the papers for not paying summon...lol...)

summon for speeding in Bayan Lepas
supposedly 70km but written here 84km
For the First time in history, I received a Police Saman...
so this afternoon I have burnt a hole in my pocket...
how much??
I asked the policeman got SALES or not
he checked, checked the system and said YES...
but only 30% discount..
sigh..... I still got to pay
RM 200.00!!!!

sob..sob.....sobbbbbbb.......
(actually..in actual fact, i was not driving... eventhough the car belongs to me, driver might look like me but it was not me... hahaha......
anyway, i cannot ask my fren to pay, kan?)

  18. in Malaysia, anything can .. last time they gave 50%... too bad mine only 30%

    ReplyDelete
  19. Sorry to hear that, but you should be able to get 50% discount just by using a form letter they paste on the summons area in PDRM. I have two tickets for running red lights (damn soi, both red lights I ran in a row had cams) but yeah, my policy is to forget about it until it's brought up. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  20. yeah... over and done... just be more observant next time... esp under the flyovers..hehe..

    ReplyDelete
  21. i told you,,next time you come penang, let me know,, i am taiko here,, you can speed as you like hahahahahahah

  22. Ooh... sorry to hear that. But good that you pay early too. Last time my hubby only remember to pay after the given period, no more discount. Had to pay RM300. And must pay. Why? Because not able to renew the road tax. :(

  23. Aiyor...RM200!!! Good! Should be RM2000!!! My ex-colleague, 37 years old - a very good man and good teacher - was killed in an accident June 1st. His poor Kancil hit by one of those fast and furious Hilux-type pick-up trucks! Went to his funeral yesterday - so many teachers and students and not a dry eye in the church! When will people ever learn?

  28. In the past few months when I went to Ipoh and Penang, I was surprised to see so many road blocks within the few stretch of roads in the day time. One motorbike even made an illegal turn against the traffic to escape the road block! The police only shouted at the rider. :S

    Sad thing to pay summon!

    ReplyDelete

Three Hours City Tour At Ensenada, Mexico

A THREE HOURS CITY TOUR when we embarked in Mexico on the second morning.   My sister booked the three hours city tour in Ensenada, Mexico, a van came to pick us up from the port.  Ensenada is the border of Mexico and it reminds me of Hatyai, a border town too between Malaysia and Thailand.  We were taken to a shopping area where we must haggle for the goods.  LOL.. Yes, something common in my own country... Anyway, we did not buy anything for ourselves... just a wooden handmade truck for my grandson which cost $8usd.   Nothing much to shout about on this three hours excursion, I was so sleepy on the way back to the ship that I dozed off and only awaken when we were driven through the town.  All in all, I just wanted to step onto Mexican soil and I would give this a miss if I were to go on this Mexico cruise again.  LOL... At the open area shopping walking towards the Blowhole... This is La Bufadora Blowhole, an amazing natural marine geyser that is capable of shooting water over 60 fe

Exploring The Sea Cruise Royal Caribbean

CRUISING ALONG.... Once we deposited our bags in our cabins, we had our buffet meal at the Hammerjack restaurant and exactly at 4pm, we heard a loud Horn signal...  ITS TIME TO SAIL ALONG THE PACIFIC OCEAN! And while the ship started to sail, we humans started to walk and explore.... to familarize ourselves inside the ship....  Elevators on each side of the ship....  Making my mark....  On another side....  We walked along to check out our food outlets... This Promenade Cafe  had became our regular joint .... We like to sit there enjoying our hot drinks and desserts... Free flow of food day and night.... Passing through the bars to the casino... The casino will open only when the ship is in international waters...  At one of the jackpot machines... I wonder if they are real?? But they are only $1 bundles... Then we went up to the highest floor.... The swimming deck.... Taken against the sun.... Nice sunset in the evening.... The Happy Trio!

The Good, The Bad But Not Ugly

MISSING AND NOW BACK IN ACTION...  I checked back my last post and it was 8 March last month and today is 19 April, less than two months only.  So what has been happening in my life?  Lots and lots... good news, bad news, sad news... all concerning health and I guess this is our life cycle as we live day by day.   My health is also not that "fantastic" during the past few months, but mine is a small rock compared to giant boulder which my best buddy is undergoing... I guess some of you know what is happening to her from her blog posts.  I was totally devastated when this happened to her, my tears couldn't help falling and my heart goes out to her.  I am ashamed to say that instead of me giving the comfort that she needs, I am the one that have been receiving her strength in times like this.  She might be crushed physically but she is not broken in her spiritual mind and soul.  One word... "Unbreakable!"  She is a shining example..... "What can death do to m
