Northam Beach Cafe

Okay, time to sway away from the previous post, (Eugene, sorry, this post was "unintentionally" later than normal), at his request's I better change the subject... he is feeling quite uncomfortable about being "lengchai" and "young-looking"... ok, ok... I stop here, boy...

From my lunch in Lets Wallop blog, we went to Northam Beach Cafe for our dinner. My second time there but first time for my siblings. My sister was escastic about the food there, she simply loves western food and she ended up ordering this and that... till she could stomach no more... but she was adamant about going there again on her next trip, ie end of this month.

The ambience there is so different, nothing like IPOH... we can feel the natural breeze of the seawater (no smelly smell)... the scenery during the evening was somehow "romantic"... LOL... and it is so near to the Gurney Hotel where we stayed...

see... just next to the sea....

can see the "sampans" boats...

the evening sunset...

it was quite empty when we arrived..

but we loved it... peaceful and nice..

i "fell in love" with this french dessert
something called "crepe"
RM4.80

i love this "crepe" too
with banana & apple fillings
RM4.80

nyonya seafood noodles
RM6.50

this is called "kau chee" dumplings
(emperors used to have this for supper, true?)

my girl had this "german sausage" meal
RM9.00

Shanghai meat pancake
RM4.00

Japanese patties...

I didnt manage to snap all the food we ordered..
the mua chee was the most "wasted"
we left the whole packet on the table
forgot to take back... sigh...
maybe our stomachs too satisfied
that we overlooked it!

Anyway, we will definitely come again...
