White Becomes Colourful...

For the past few months, I did not have a helper... I did my own washing and ironing... And the disastrous results came out such as these.... my girl's school shirts are gone for good.....

Instead of white school shirts, she now has 3 different colours....

Poor girl, I have to buy some new shirts for her...
at least to last her for another two months.... sigh...
What a mother!

  1. errr, you didn't try to bleach them back to white??

  2. Well, they are pretty pastels, perhaps she could make an outfit from them when not in school. Did you wash them with colors? Do you have a maid?

  3. Too much blogging....too much blogging.... Tsk tsk tsk..

  4. sk: no, i havent tried bleach yet.. must go buy...

ginny: now no more helper already.. hahaa...

    chris: rub it in!! :)

  5. Ya...they look quite nice really. You can use them as blouses to go to work. Muahahahahaha!!!!

  6. i think u can try using bleach n c how.

  7. Oo, how come like that... Hmmm, time for some new shirts ^^

  8. ya..luckily it is an all white shirt so bleaching will help to make it back to original white, hehe..

  9. Not bad, looks ok. How did you manage to get 3 different colours.

  10. Oh... what a surprise... To prevent similar situation from occuring again, you can ask your daughter to do the cleaning herself. When dealing with her own uniform, I believe she will carry out her job well.

  11. always happen to me too.. my mum will then nag..

  12. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
    Sorry ya
    *cough* *cough*

  13. stp: sigh..

yeeling: i have to buy clorox first..

    hayley: bought already.. :)

chinnee: can still do after so many days?

    irene: different days! hahaha..

    kathy: vanish bleach? got ah?

    pam: gosh.. that is hard!

wenn: i mix everything together.. that is the problem..

anthony: so funny as that ah? hahaha...

  14. Don't be too hard on yourself, it happens to everyone.

  15. Ohno! 3 colors!? :O:o nvm nvm, can buy new one. :P

  16. claire, better not tell what washing powder you are using..people dont know thought it's the after effect of the detergent..looking from left to right, you spoil the company's imagelah..sssshhhh!! hahaha!

  17. I think those 3 colors are very nice. She can wear them when not in school.

  18. soak it in bleah but nothing more than 3 hours. else it will spoil the material.

if it doesn't work, guess she can wear it for normal outings :p.

  19. good Mom

  20. Humph! I wore a new pair of shorts, bought in Penang sometime ago...dark blue in colour. I was afraid the colour would run so I put at one side, not with the rest of the laundry but my missus just mixed it with the rest and threw into the machine. everything else is dark blue too... Tsk! Tsk!

  21. Haha last time my mom always remind me not to wash my school uniform with other colored shirts... then again i'm too lazy to care... haha

  22. filip, dont worry, i wont!

    caroline: yes, bought liow..

lena: this one manual mistake.. :)

gigi: she definitely will not.. hahaa..

LV: all inside bag to be given away..

    cloudia: careless mum...

stp: i thought i m the only mum who never separates clothing.. hahaa..

daniel: once working, have to care cos have to pay your own, right?

  23. lol lol lol!!!!!! i had the same experience too! but i manage to solve mine. i mean my mum managed to. :P

someone left comments in my blog about how to whiten it.

  24. Soak it with bleach and some washing detergent, leave it overnight, it's help.

When one of our maid left two months ago, i took over the ironing job, first day i already iron my carpet with a BIG IRON MARK!! sei mou? But that is accident la, i am not that bad la. hahahha
