Halloween Atmosphere In One Utama Shopping Mall

Our next stop is One Utama shopping mall in Petaling Jaya. Know what? I have been to this place for umpteen times already and still I don't know the way till today! My sense of direction is really hopeless when it comes to recognizing roads. Thank goodness for my good friends, we managed to come and join in the Halloween atmosphere here...
Halloween deco at the ground floor...
All the spooky deco here and there....
this one fascinated us...
when we clapped our hands, these "halloween" displays moved about...
the spider doing its Halloween dance...
We spent more than three hours here... took 'high tea' in Nyonya Colors cafe, my favourite outlet... then we adjourned to a Karaoke Lounge for a "singaway" but unfortunately, we didn't manage to.. Since it was a public holiday, they charged double...RM30 per person is too high, to spend 150RM just to sing, I think it would be a better idea to spend the money for our dinner in Klang!  The singing can be taken place in my friend's home theatre and it is free of charge!  LOL....

  1. well sing at home and sing at karaoke is difference feel..

  2. I was done in 1u on Friday too. Guess we no fate.

  3. SP: yeah, the mics are different of course and the more songs to choose from! :)

rachel: the place was crowded.. hey, would you recognize me if you saw me? :)

  4. Ha, One U......didn't go there for 2 months!

  5. See! Sibu better! Whole lounge to ourselves and sing to our hearts' content!!! Come, come...we go sing...sing...sing!

  6. pete: KL has so many shopping malls.. can go others...

stp: hahaha... cos you booked the whole lounge ma... hahahah...

  7. I only know my way to 1U..nice holidays over there! Enjoy..

  8. Spend rm150 for karaoke...better sing at home...FOC. Spend that amount of $$ in food is better,, least tummy are full.

  9. Wah public holiday surcharge. Yea agreed spending RM150 for sing, I rather spend it to eat.

  10. wenn: at least u know the way...

    mery: u r absolutely right!

    vicky: eating is fulfillment.. hahaha...

  11. Interesting & fun about the Windancer and truly speaking, love to see all the spooky deco.

  12. Happy Halloween haha thats a cool place to be

  13. Irene: I miss the dance actually.. i was out walking somewhere else...

    mecoy: eh..

  14. I have got bad sense of direction matter how hard I try and still get lost..will visit some of the mall in PJ or KL when we are there next week.

  15. You in One Utama tak call ME! :(

  16. LOL Chrome....

An Evening Dinner At Chef Chew Kitchen, Petaling Jaya

BACK TO SG. BULOH for a couple of days.... Come evening, we went for dinner at Chef Chew Kitchen in Seksyen 19, Petaling Jaya.  Since it was my first time there, I did not know what to expect except to sit back, relax and eat.  LOL... It is a one shop lot restaurant so tables are very limited.  Reservation was made at 6pm to be on the safe side, to avoid crowds and waiting for food was very minimized at this time of the day.  For the seven of us, these dishes were served on the table... Thumbs up even before the dinner...  And soon these are served...  Claypot braised ribs...  Their signature dish... Fish Maw...  First time eating fish maw which is whitish in colour...  Black Beancurd with Pumpkin sauce... Hey, this restaurant indeed serves new to me! This must be Sweet Sauce Chicken... For the American... Cos we Asians like Steamed Chicken like this!  LOL...  And the star dish of the dinner is this...  Freshly steamed and succulent prawns

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...  Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch

Night Market Along Lee Garden Plaza Hotel, Hatyai

BY THE TIME WE REACHED THE HOTEL, it was almost dark. This time round, we took a longer rest in the hotel... my girl might not need it but I certainly did!  After recharging around 80% of my body strength, we were ready to explore the streets again. Our hotel is really a strategic spot for us tourists.  The street vendors were all ready to boost their sales in front, at the side and along the whole stretch of street where we stayed.  Left, right, front... the place was filled with people and tourists like us... I could hear some of them speaking my dialect, we felt kind of at home instead of being tourists.... Besides the street vendors in front of the hotel, there was a night market just five minutes walking distance away from our hotel, Lee Garden Plaza.... Maybe they only opened during the weekends?  I am not sure about that.. .anyway, we were kind of excited to see all the bright lights along the street.... Come... Let's Go! We started from the beginning of the str
