My Sweet Temptations For Fulfillment

By now many of you know that I have sweet tooth, I like anything sweet and being so, I must also be very careful of being diabetic!  I do my check up quite regularly and so far, so good, still within the safe mode...

Ok, lets forget about health first... These are some of the desserts I took for the past few days.. actually I took them at a moderate rate... like for instance a bowl of ice kacang, I could only end up not even half the portion of it...  I guess everything I take need to be shared....
Such a big portion... how to finish it???
A very generous servings of peanuts, just look at that..
This Ice Kacang is served in GP First Garden...
Next is the Blackball now newly opened in IPOH Greentown Business Centre...
I prefer them with soya bean than santan...
Four bowls of desserts shared by five of us.....
Least and not last, we saw this in Jaya Jusco!
I remember taking this in San Francisco...
and the popular flavour is Chunky Monkey!
For one small pint, this cost RM29.90
Though it is expensive, the ice cream seems to be very lasting...
Till today this small pint is still in my freezer....
One tablespoon per day is worth what I have paid...
LOL...

  1. The portion is huge. Prefer ice kacang with red beans than peanuts. Chunky Monkey is still my best choice.

yeah, that one pint of ice cream can really last long if you are having it alone.. a couple of spoon a day is a good pamper for yourself.. good idea!!!

My Failed Project In Baking Mini Egg Cakes

FAILED THIS TIME..... I don't know why, I follow exactly the ingredients and the method written in her website but it was not successful.  Something went wrong somewhere but I don't think I want to try it again.  This recipe is called Mini Egg Cake which is supposed to be soft, airy, light sponge cake but the way I made them, they turned out hard and crusty cake.   If I try again one day, I will half the portion... cos I like to eat these traditional egg cakes.... The Ingredients...  No point putting the recipe here since I failed..  LOL...  The portions of this recipe....  It looked very promising when I put them into the oven.... Even when they were in the baking process... they look good, aren't they? LOL...  I was so happy just by looking at the mini egg cakes in the tray....  And after they were let out... my heart sank....  The minute I took them out from the tray, I knew... Hard at the top...  Tak Jadi = Failed.... Now come to t

Our Orders From Afghanistan, Spanish And Australia

My Final post on the Food Festival in the Victoria Market on Wednesday night.... The atmosphere at the market was "enhanced" by the cheerful songs and music by a group band... It was indeed a merry evening filled with music-licous folk songs in the air... . Ok, how to find four seats in this crowd.... hmmmm....... Somehow we managed to... and these were what my boys brought back to our table.... Mexican rice with oysters... or is it Spanish rice?   Both are the same, I guess... LOL.... Afghanistan Food.... chunks of chicken meat with naan.... Brazilian food.... don't ask me what it is.... I just ate what was on the table....  But I am amazed by this giant burger....  ..... and what burger is this? They told me it is Crocodile Tail Burger! Meat from the crocodile tail?  Is it just a name or what... I really don't know... Took a few bites of it... and I am full!! Well, these were the food we

Home Cooked Dishes

NOT MUCH HAPPENING... and lazy too.... My neighbour gave me half pumpkin and I have been keeping it for a couple of days before I finally decide what to do with it.  I cook it into small chunks and sauteed it with minced meat, okra and basil leaves.  Yes, it would be great to put in some small cilipadi but unfortunately, I did not find any in my fridge.  Steamed a bowl of rice and that was meal for dinner.... One dish meal....  Pumpkin reminds me of sweet potatoes...sweet after cooking... Another dinner meal consist of Sambal Fish, black pepper met and a hard boiled egg  I only boiled the egg, the other two dishes were "sponsored" by my neighbour... LOL...
