Anytime Is Tea Time In Cameron Highlands

Other than the cooling weather and the plantations, there is nothing much for me to enjoy anymore in Camerons... Maybe I do not know the way to go to those greener pastures deep inside... I only know how to drive along the main roads...Vegetables sold along the way are expensive... as for the food, no comments.. hahaha... But if we go in groups and stay in those luxurious apartments, then it is a different story altogether. That will be fun, I am sure...

Okay, back to my second part of the Camerons trip... after lunch we walked along the Tanah Rata town shops... my sis and BIL wanted to get more souvenirs to take home and ended up buying some mugs, fridge magnets etc etc....
Then we proceeded to a Tea Plantation..
I have been here several times and I notice that this time was a bit different..
The tea plantation was not as "green" as the previous trips....
Maybe the tea leaves had just been harvested...
I notice that some parts were almost barren....
Well, I know next to nothing about tea leaves and harvesting...
But my sisters certainly enjoy drinking the tea there....
Yes, it is time for TEA!
As it is written up there... ANYTIME IS TEA TIME!
Though it was a weekday, the place was quite occupied.....

let's check out the menu first.....
and we ended up ordering...
a piece of strawberry cheesecake....
and a set of warm-up scones.....
I was fascinated by this Giant Tea Cup....
I would love to buy this set if it is for sale....
But too bad it was displayed only for "taking tips!"
hmmmmm.....

  1. Love the strawberry & cactus farms. Lots of beautiful flowers. Also went to watercress valley. Hope to go there again.

  2. Haven't been to this outlet yet. Have always been to the one nearby by Cameron Valley too and to Boh plantations. The scones look great and nice that they gave SCS butter, a good brand. :)

  13. Ooooo...I love English cream tea! Did you have that in Scotland? The scones and the clotted cream and the fruit jam - a perfect combination. I take coffee though..., black.
