Porridge For A Teochiew

After all the "running around here and there" like an old springy chicken, the body has finally taken its toil... Yes, I am talking about me.. yours truly here took a few days off work..... I was already on Rest Leave since Monday ... but tomorrow I will have to drag my weary legs to work... and who says retirement is no good?

Meanwhile... to "cleanse" my body system again, I had two days of blended carrot juice and green apples in the morning.  For lunch and for dinner, I took porridge.... thanks to my Great Mama, she cook my favourite condiments to go with the porridge...
steamed... and steamed.... both goes well with the plain porridge...
See, I eat simple... I can have two plates of porridge anytime....
This proves that I am a typical Teochiew nang...
Another much sought after porridge is this ... Roasted Pork Bones.....
For two consecutive days, I have this RPB...
(Siew Chu Kwat Chok... very yap mei!)
YUMMSSS!!

  10. Well, I think porridge is good for you! Here, when people go on vacation, they come back not rested, but too exhausted from their trip, so I can see how you had to take off. I hope you get back to normal very quick!
