Les Miserables Musical Show

Vacation
My two weeks holiday in Scotland was indeed an "eye opener" for me.   I was so captivated with the spectacular scenery as we drove and visited a few cities.  Among the places we visited were Aberdeen, Perth, Stirling, Pitlochry, Edinburgh and Dundee.  They were really amazing, I am so thankful to my son for arranging this trip, renting a car and taking me around.  Those are sweet memories and if given an opportunity, this time I would like to visit London and visit their Queen Theatre!

Live Performance
During the time in Scotland, I did not visit any opera theatre though we passed one by in Edinburgh.  We did not have enough time unfortunately otherwise I would love to watch some live stage performances such as Les Miserables!  From what I found out from my friends and reviews, Les Miserables  are in London for the twenty fifth year.  I heard that the songs are so beautiful and entertaining and with standing ovations night after night, I am sure this is one show worth looking out for.  For those who are looking forward to watching this musical, you can purchase the Les Miserables tickets online.  It is so easy, prices are shown on different days too.

Coincidentally during the thirteen hours flight back to Singapore, there was this inflight movie and I had a great time watching and listening to the beautiful songs.  Les Miserables is indeed an Amazing show!  If given an opportunity, I would love to watch their live performance, after all, purchasing the tickets are just a few clicks away on the computer.  The tickets information and details are clearly shown on the website, you can choose whichever date is suitable for you.  Let's not miss out this live performance!

Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner At San Jose 2022

TABLE FOR FOUR... We had our own reunion Chinese New Year dinner on Monday evening.... we made a simple one, just hot pot at home.  All we have to do is to clean the vegetables, get everything defrosted... and the hot pot boiling with a packet of seasoning.  They sell a lot of hot pot seasoning over here, from tomato soup to shrimp and chicken soup, I just threw in the whole packet of paste.  No doubt not so healthy but it is so easily done....  As usual, Chinese New Year won't be CNY without a plate of Loe Sang...  No crackers so I put in a few pieces of Tacos... LOL... Most important is the sauce....  The apricot, plum sauce and honey makes it right.... And our dishes for the evening..... We ate too much shrimps the day before so we omitted for this evening.... Simple and yet satisfying meal for our Reunion Dinner....

Cookies For Chinese New Year 2022 In San Jose

MISSING IN BLOGGING AGAIN.... this has become a norm now ever since I arrived to this continental... LOL... Now I understand the word of Full Commitment when it comes to taking care of baby... seriously, I have to be fully commited and occupied by this little cheeky fella who is now going to be his 10th month soon.  Wow... time flies, when I first came, he was just slightly over four months... that being said, it is soon time fo rme to pack my bags and leave.  LOL... My 6 months being a babysitter is soon over... and did I say I can hardly wait?  NO, NO... I love my job here and I am going to miss my baby tremendously!  I only don't miss his cries!  LOL...  OK, by the time I write this post, Chinese New Year is over, it is now the 4th day of CNY.  Two days before the Lunar New Year, my daughter-in-law and I cooperated fully and baked a few types of cookies.  Looking back at these pictures, I dare say that we did a good job... not on the cookies but at least we had a great time bond

Three Hours City Tour At Ensenada, Mexico

A THREE HOURS CITY TOUR when we embarked in Mexico on the second morning.   My sister booked the three hours city tour in Ensenada, Mexico, a van came to pick us up from the port.  Ensenada is the border of Mexico and it reminds me of Hatyai, a border town too between Malaysia and Thailand.  We were taken to a shopping area where we must haggle for the goods.  LOL.. Yes, something common in my own country... Anyway, we did not buy anything for ourselves... just a wooden handmade truck for my grandson which cost $8usd.   Nothing much to shout about on this three hours excursion, I was so sleepy on the way back to the ship that I dozed off and only awaken when we were driven through the town.  All in all, I just wanted to step onto Mexican soil and I would give this a miss if I were to go on this Mexico cruise again.  LOL... At the open area shopping walking towards the Blowhole... This is La Bufadora Blowhole, an amazing natural marine geyser that is capable of shooting water over 60 fe
