Kok Thai Signature Dishes

Mention Kok Thai to my son and he will exclaim... "Not again???" Yes, again and again, my family including my siblings, we go to Kok Thai restaurant more often than the other restaurants. My mother loves to go there so many times we obliged, maybe it is due to their reasonable price and the dishes "match" with her taste buds... hahahaa...

This time it was my sister's treat.... she has something happy to celebrate about... hahahaa... A simple dinner she said but to me, it was more than a simple dinner... the food was simply fabulous as usual... well, do not go so frequently and you will find the food as tasty as always...

Fried Crispy Chicken
(Sing Lei Kai)
Braised Beancurd with gingko nuts....
 This is my favourite dish...
Claypot Seafood (vegetarian)
This is certainly non-vegetarian...
Braised Trotter
4 types of vegetable with sambal belacan...
(Sei Tai Tin Wong)
Assam Seafood Curry
6 Big Dishes for 10 People
And the bill came to around RM200 plus..
I think it is a good deal...

  1. Fabulous dinner. All looks so good and portion is huge. Only RM200 plus, that is dirt cheap.

  7. Crispy chicken and of course, the pig trotters - my picks! Not too crazy about the assam curry, the colour's kind of yellow...or maybe it's because you use flash. Looks better in the last pic.

  16. Haha! I know what you mean, I eat at the same place for lunch every single day coz I like it! :)

    Except weekends that is.

My parents have a favorite restaurant, and they'll always go there when they eat out.

RM 20 per pax is pretty reasonable for dai chow with dishes like those. It's not super cheap but the fish looks delicious!
