Activities Along Beach Street In Penang

During my weekend in Penang, we went to Church Street, I was told that they have some interesting activities along the Church Street in Georgetown every Sunday. Indeed there was when I reached around 11am on that beautiful sunny Sunday.  Some part of the roads were being blocked to make way for the pedestrians to walk freely and to take part in some activities.  Sort of a family day...Kids can cycle freely, there are bicycles for rent, two wheels, three wheels.... To my delight, it was indeed an eye opener for me and I would love to go there once again...
Church Street... mainly office buildings...
Colonial structures...
Nice deco here.. our local buildings not bad, huh...
Fun and activities...
What's the name of the game?
Sweet voices filled the air... "Nobody, nobody but You.... "
Sounded like Korean singers....
T-shirts and souvenirs for sale....
This is something new to me...
Knives Massage, anyone???
 Looks like fun here too...
I wouldn't mind having a ride in this too!
Family bonding day....
Ipoh should have one of these street activities too...
Standing in the midst of it all...
Must come by here again the next time...
Do some cycling exercise.... hmmm....

  15. I studied at the Christian Brothers school near Beach Street for 11 years and that street was my favourite!! When I went to London, I was surprised to see the similarity of the buildings!
