Goodalls And Kuta Bali Foodcourts In Penang

Some places of Food in Penang that we have tasted during our short trip... One of them is Goodalls situated along Jalan Tanjung Tokong, just opposite the Penang Chinese Girls High School. It was my first time there and I certainly will go back for more varieties when I am in Penang again. There are quite a number of stalls and I just could not try as many as I wish I could. They even have lok-lok (dip-dip), Thai cuisine, satays, roasted chicken wings, fried Or Chien (oyster) besides others....
I tried out their Ikan Bakar  (Grilled Fish)
Just nicely cooked...
Fried Oyster.... very nicely done too....
Their oysters are quite big and juicy...
Looking at these made me realize the cause of my mouth ulcer...
Another "first time" dropping by place is Kuta Bali Cafe in Paya Terubong...
I couldn't keep count the number of stalls here...
Plenty of them... and I surely want to come by here again too!
Red beans and sago dessert!!
Making me drool over them now....
There is a wide selection at this stall... but I don't know why I picked this...
These are sweet potato tong yuen with ginger sweet syrup...
Good idea for Tong Yuen Day this year...
The next morning we went to Kheng Phin Cafe along Penang Road....
I ordered their Fried Koay Teow...
Small plate... just my portion...
I notice that their bean sprouts are similar to Ipoh..
Short, fat and crunchy!
And of course, this shouldn't be missed..
The best Lobak in Penang, I heard from many....
Well, for me it is the best because they have Fried Yam too!!
Just so Yammy!!
How about that?
Now you know why I always like to go Penang, right? :)

  7. You tasted the best Penang Lobak?

I still prefer the crispy o chien. Tasted the wet o chien once in Melacca, not to my liking. But different people different taste. :)

    Goodmorning to you, Claire!!

    1. Yes, different style of cooking... I can eat crispy or non crispy.. both are equally good to me as long as the oysters are fresh.. :)
