Chrysanthemom, Wolfberries And Longan Jelly

I feel there is a "haze" in my own body!!

First the hot weather, secondly, my right eye went pinkish or is it reddish... then it spread to my left eye and now both of my eyes are feeling watery all the time.  I have been given medical leave by the hospital clinic for one whole week and the doctor told me that conjunctivitis normally takes two weeks to get healed.  And I am not laughing out loud over my medical leave which will extend till next week... why?  Cos I don't like feeling the way I am now... my appetite is gone and I am hot all over... if I were twenty years younger, I would feel like a Hot Babe.... but now I am feeling like an over-hot maid!

Suddenly my appetite changed during this past week... I have been eating yogurt with cornflakes for the past few days!  Knowing myself, I would have stayed away from yogurt if I am normal... Yes, I am AB-normal now, I feel like taking anything cooling and cold all the time now...
Yes, this is my dinner.... for the past week till today...
Even my normal and favourite dishes will not tempt me in any way now...
Oh dear, where has my appetite gone???
Chrysanthemum is good for eyes... for sore eyes...
And wolfberries too....
I decided to make something extraordinary this afternoon..
Chrysanthemum, wolfberries and longan agar-agar...
Something cold...cooling... to chill my body...
Oh, I made a mistake while boiling this...
The wolfberries are not supposed to be boiled together with the chrysanthemum...
This is called learning by mistakes....

  2. Your eyes still not getting better? Better stay from your pc for a while. Rest when your eyes get tired or watery.

Actually I also feel my eyes more sensitive lately. Easier watery and sore. Must be the dust as been very hot and hazy lately but thank god we have rains since yesterday.

Speedy recovery to you. Get 100% well soon. I love chrysanthemum. Always add wolberries and honey in my chrysanthemum drink. Yes. Only add wolberries when you want to drink. I just throw few wolberries in my cup and then pour chrysanthemum drink. Close lid on cup for a while or just leave it for few minutes.

  4. Hope you get well soon. Your bowl is very unique - I like it - looks like a mangosteen.
Why are the wolfberries not supposed to be boiled with the chrysanthemum? How is it supposed to be then?

    1. Cos I am making agar agar... if boiled together, then I would have difficulty taking them out and putting them in my agar agar... I should have boiled it after I strained the chrysanthemum...

  6. I like kekwa drinks too especially when it's cold. I don't boil kekwa with kei chee. I would just pour out the ready kekwa drink and then mix with the kei chee and longan. It would taste better I suppose. I will try it one day.
